Very friendly helpful family run hostel

close to chinatown- 1 min walk, but in quiet little cnr.

i used the room basically for a resting place during a 9 hr stopover in kl, and also a luggage storage so we could trip around. i booked only a single room, but they gave me a bigger room with dbl bunk and dbl bed as there were 3 of us, at no extra charge. the place is like a backpackers hostel, shared bathroom facilities. if comfort is your thing, then its not the place to stay, but if your on a budget, i would certainly recommend it. nice ppl, very freindly and helpful.
Shopping Tip: your a 1 min walk to chinatown shopping

The most .... the price is afordable, good location... i love the staff treating the guest with full of smile and always willing to help, make the place looks like a palace. When u stay feel like at home and want to come back later.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: always try to find hotel or guest hotel near the subway station that link to many interesting places in town with cheap price.

Homely Atmosphere with Lovely Ambience

Basic Amenities, Cleanliness, Help and Guidance
8.3
a very nice accomodation with great price and central location. accesible to all main public transport points. the host nadina, was a very pleasing personality always eager to help you and guide you in all possible way. generally thronged by western/eurorpean yooung hitch-hikers, and is the best place to live near china town and kl sentral if you are visiting kl as tourist. stay here to have a good nights rest and be ready the next day for adventures and trips around kl.
Hotel Feature Tip: you will actually end up saving a heck lot of money due to the central location of the hotel. nearness to china town means nightlife and buzz all through the night. closeness to main stations maharajalela and pasar seni means cheap and frequent trains and monorails to everywhere in kl without having to spent exhorbitant amounts on taxis.

Not as advertised

Friendly staff

this hotel looks nothing like the photos. it is an old run down building. they added a few walls to create rooms and didn't bother with a proper paint job. the toilets were constantly leaking and the conditions of the bathrooms were horrible. they advertised a "private" room, but it was anything but private. the ac is shared with the next room by a giant hole cut in the top of the wall. when the other room puts the light on it shines into your "private" room. this does nothing to stop the noise from the next room. also, the room was litterally 6 feet from the common tv room. with people coming and going 24hrs a day it is impossible to get any rest. i will say the staff were extreemly welcoming and friendly, but this place is not as advertised!
