Nice for the price

close to border with Zhuhai. Traditional Macau neighborhood, few tourists
7.7
easy to find and good services in the neighborhood, shopping, temples, streets to amble. Close to border gate with Zhuhai and shuttle buses to all casinos. rooms adequate, beds comfortable. Chinese restaurant on premises. electric kettle and frig in room. Hong Kong TV and one movie channel. a distance from the "historic" town, but bus services close by and convenient for city use.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: the purpose of this trip was to see Cirque De Soilie at the Venetian. It was a good show and the concierge sold us a package which included a minimal dinner, tickets, "shopping bucks" and a free coffee. The casino is very nice!

Hot water was not provided at our last day stay. The hotel staff did not greeted us upon arrival and did not assisted us going to room.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Walking distance to Mongha Fort. Less than 10 minutes by taxi to ruins of St. Paul.

We stayed here from Dec 24-26. The reception staff we good but had some English challenges. We tried the restaurant but the staff avoided us because none could talk English and there was no English menu. So we ate elsewhere. We asked for a queen bed and got 2 rock hard singles which is typical Chinese. There was no room safe and there is no wifi. Apparently there is cable internet but I had a tablet and iphone so no good to me. There is a quant little park across the road that has all these old Chinese playing some board game. As with most parks in Macau there was free wifi but you cannot do voip on it but Skype does sneak through - mail was OK.To get here from the airport you need to get 4.30 macau patacas or hk dollars each. Raid the convenience store in the airport to get the exact or slightly more change as the bus does not give change.Catch bus AP 1 to the boarder gate. Then walk directly away from the Chinese boarder up the street directly opposite for about 500m and you are there.
Restaurant Tip: Forget the hotel restaurant

during my stay, i could find all the things that i needed inside the room, including hair dryer, kettle, combs, tooth brushes, tv ...... however the lights inside the room are not bright enough for us to see clearly. besides, there are two bus stops nearby and you can take a lot of buses of different routes. on the whole, i will recommend this hotel.

a bit too far from downtown but it's really good to stay. as the hotel is locating in the real macau which you will see the real living life od macau people. also not too far from downtown which can catch the buses not too hard. or you can walk around the hotel to explore the local foods and a lot of great sight seeing.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Macau museum is so good
