Dont accept room level 1 room 2102

The cleanliness of the room was great, location and surrounding shops and undercover parking.
Our checkin was ok however it seemed very rushed, we were put in a room on the ground level right next to the vehicle access way to the shops within the village. This was a little disappointing as the blinds in the room dont completely block out so people can see in. The access way was used by vehicles at about 530 am which woke us up. The hotel is a nice clean place in a good location, it has a gym, and a hot tubin each building for guests to share.

Watch out for "Resort Fee"

Location, pool, and view.
Wonderful, aside from being charged the "Resort Fee" Overall, very comfortable.

Too much noise.

location, room size, parking
The lodge was nice but the rooms are a little dated. The worst part for me was that the leaf blowers started at 8 AM and did not stop until 9:30 AM. It made it impossible to sleep in on the weekend and the way the buildings are set the sound was echoing unbearable throughout the property. We called the front desk and they very kindly told us they would look into the problem. We got no reply and the blowing continued until 9:30 a.m. At checkout we requested that they credit us one of the $20 resort fees because of the noise issue. The receptionist informed us that she has a gardener that starts at 7 AM and that is very normal. We smiled and said thank you anyway have a nice day.

it is a lovely village style hotel

style, arrangement, facility
warmly welcomed village style hotel, will definitely come back in winter for ski. facility is comprehensive but the room size is a little too small. everything else is perfect.

Great hotel! But way too loud

The rooms are excellently appointed, staff is very friendly, location is perfect.
The studio I stayed at is bound to be one of the nicest hotel rooms I've ever been in. The kitchen was fully appointed and spotless (didn't have a freezer, though). The bed was comfortable, and the fireplace really nice. Slate floors, giant windows with mountain views, big screen TV with a zillion channels. The amenities are great, and the Lodge is right by the Village and the gondola. The only real downside was the noise level. Snow removal equipment turned around right outside my window all night long. It was so loud that I really needed ear plugs the entire time. Not an issue if there is no fresh snow, but something to consider if you are planning a ski vacation.

The hotel is well located with ample size rooms, washing facilities, undercover parking and a great range of eateries surrounding it.
Would definitely recommend this hotel to couples or families. The room we had was extremely comfortable and well appointed. There were washing/drying facilities just down the hall from our room which was much appreciated. We were there in fall, a day before the season opened and some of the shops and eateries weren't open yet. The Mammoth area is a beautiful spot. We did a day trip to Yosemite and were lucky to have all the roads and passes open. Would definitely recommend this place to others.
