Economy room Smells mushrooms
The economy room was very unpleasant, Smells and is very wet. We Could not sleep. Good that we had to woke up at 3 in the morning to climb the mont Batur. Staff are nice and helpful guys. The location is good and the hotel decoration is very original and beautiful. I would not stay here again.

Just don't go there - hilarious in hindsight
This was the worst place we have stayed. We are travelling on a low budget, so I made this booking bc there was a 'special deal' price. The building is amazing, but on the noisy main road. It is very dark inside with some rock features. We were upgraded bc on check in we advised the staff that the room had no tap. The 'Superior Room' had a nice looking bed, and a large bath. We were climbing Mt Batur in the morning so we stayed. The room was very dusty, the bathroom smelled of urine, the bathroom blinds were filthy and did not close, and the towels smelt bad. The young men that booked us in seemed to behave like normal teenagers, always on their phones, watching telly, and at night they slept on mattresses in the foyer. For extra excitement at 11.30pm they were knocking on the front door of the hotel, seemingly locked out, then they rang the reception phone for ages, which of course was right next to our room. Just don't go there.

One day is more than enough
There isn't much to do there except to see Mount Batur. So if you walk up or down from the hotel, there isn't much to do, especially at night. What was disappointing was that there was very limited hot water, and the blinds in the toilet was broken so you could literally see outside, vice versa. There isn't any airconditioning or fan, but it is slightly chilly in that region.

Intereting place that could be good with care and better staff
Run by 3 young guys who seem to not have a clue or a care on how to run a guest house. Zero cleanliness even for Asia standards. Good location above the lake for sunset drink at a nearby restaurant. Only other good point was a clean and comfortable bed.

Lovely building.
On arrival the two young Lud's said they had no record of my booking and who agoda were, after showing them my booking I was then asked to pay to which I had to show them my booking again which said "paid in full". Room my nice all decorated in traditional Balinese but next to reception with window looking at dining table and very noisy. When asked why we had no tv just remote, we were told it was broke. When asked why there was no water coming from sink taps, we were told it was a standard room????? Discovered why no water when I turned on water supply under the sink, water leaked from both pipes all over floor. Ok for one night but be prepared!

Nice balinese hotel.
Nice bed, bathtub, beautiful balinese style
Considering the 250.000 rupia price range, this beautiful Balinese-style hotel is better than other hotels in Bali. Apart from that the chamber next to the reception is a bit noisy, this hotel is worth its money.
