Perfect resting spot after jet lag

Fantastic rooms with stunning views. Really friendly staff. Very close to Phuket town to take the ferry to the islands.

Only the large room and comfy bed ......

Large room / Comfy bed / variety choice of breakfast
If you're looking for a comfy bed , nice hotel decoration , big room... This hotel is the answer but I'm looking for the 5 stars hotel service, this hotel doesn't meet my expectation in term of service and basis facilities. There's no free internet wifi in room (pay 400++ thb for inroom internet access), transoprtation in the hotel is not easy you have to use buggy service (just the same as other resort hotel) but there's not enough driver at any time even in the mindnight. The very very very warm welcome of my stay start with the carcass of birthday cake infront of my door room (which should be cleaned before I reach there) and follow with the impoite manner of buggy driver (but he try to applogize me after i call the manager) anyway i end up my frist night with the very nice abd cofy bed. On the 2nd day, there's no improvement of buggy service I have to wait more than 15-20 min for the pick up (i have to call them 2 times). And for the internet access in public area, I use more than an hour for the connection without the help of any hotel staff and I have to call the manager again and again. So, this hotel shold not be rate as 5 stars comparing with others in Phuket.

Start with bad but end with good impression

huge and comfy bed , big room , nice food
Actually, my stay at this hotel start with some bad impression but after i call the duty manager the things have been changed. I end up my 5 days stay with the good impression. Good improvement. Anyway I still not recomend this hotel for the traveller who expect the 5 five star service. You can find other hotel in the same price with the better sevice.

Westin wellness weekend

The staffs are very helpful. Front desk officers are very friendly and cheerful. Concierge was excellent. They assist you in planning your holiday and get the best out of your stay at Westin
Excellent enjoyable and memorable. Spa was rejuvenating.

Relaxing trip with great service

Service Staff, Comfortable Room and Authentic Restaurant
Westin hotel has maintained its standard with the comfortable room setting and spacious room facing beautiful sea view. Service staff were all very friendly, attentive and passionate about their work. We dined in EEST for breakfast and dinner, the banquet staff remembered us and carried humorous conversation. Meals in Westin hotel were fantastic, especially the Thai food that we ordered during dinner was really authentic. The hilly designed hotel provides a different experience that we just wanted to explore by walking around or buggy would take anyone around if required. The location is quite far (One end to another) from Patong beach and Phuket Town but the hotel provides shuttle bus with 200 - 400 Thai Baht per person one way. We ended up with a taxi (800 baht arranged by hotel) as the ride was approximately 45 mins and the waiting interval was a little too long for us (3 hours apart). They said we had to make reservation at Westin Hotel's tour/transportation reservation desk before departure if we wanted to take the shuttle bus from Patong Beach back to hotel, we found it too troublesome and inconvenient as it is difficult to estimate the time spent in shopping/beach/etc and we had to wait for 1-3 hours if we missed the last one. We also took a taxi in the end. It costed us 750 Baht one way. Overall, we had a relaxing weekend with Westin hotel. Something worth to mention, please leave a note to the hotel if it is a special occasion. We celebrated birthday and we were given a mini chocolate cake and room upgrade. Of course it doesn't happen to all hotel and it is not guaranteed to receive those surprises. Still, we were happy for the special little thing they did for us. This trip was indeed special.

My personal experience of The Westin Hotel

Friendly staff and good service at the Front Desk & Concierge Counter.
Here are some of the negative comments I would like to make following my stay at the Hotel. To start with I found the cleaning of the room unsatisfactory and the amenities were not replaced as it should have been.There was also a drawback in the design of the shower room drainage sytem whereby blockages of drains occurred, everytime I took a shower.The service at breakfast was not good probably due to shortage of staff and most of the hotel staff did not understand English well enough.There were no free wi-fi for non SPG members but for goodness sake almost every hotel in the world provide guests with free wi-fi internet connection and lastly, the hotel had limited facilities.I hope the Management of the Hotel will seriously look into these matters with a view to improving the situation.
