Hotel Description
Cobbled lanes and tall rows of 19th century townhouses set the scene for this renovated property...see more Cobbled lanes and tall rows of 19th century townhouses set the scene for this renovated property close to Vitkov Park. In a largely residential zone northeast of the Old Town, Three Crowns Hotel Prague, sometimes referred to by its Czech name U Tri Korunek, is a 10-minute tram ride from the Town Square. Comprising a new wing and an original 60s wing, the refurbished section offers clean and contemporary design with LCD TVs and large, glass wet-rooms, while the older section offers bright, sizable rooms with a more classic take on decor. Satellite TV and a cooked breakfast raise the comfort stakes, and locally there are a selection of lively bars and restaurants where Czech meals and the city's famed cheap beers can be had.

Good hotel

Helpful reception staff, cleanliness, location
It was good stay, except the parking - you have to book in advance and there were not many lots.

Close to where i was visiting, looked nice on the internet with parking and wifi.
Arrived to find that parking was 20€ extra and you need to book it before you arrive. Hotel is split into two parts, what you see on the web is the nice part, if you are booking cheap you will be in the George and Mildred (dated) side. Room had no wifi, so managed to get moved to bottom floor to pick up lobby wifi. Given a room key for a occupied room, had to make my Czech excuses as to why i had walked into this woman's room. Oops! No air con, so opened window to listen to Jimmy nail pissed up. Room ok but dated. Pillows felt like they had been stuffed with shoes.

So-so hotel

the lobby
It was a last minute decision to take this hotel. I would say that it is poor 3 star hotel. It is pretty cheap, but rooms are pretty poor. They do not have WiFi in rooms, rooms needs renovation. But overal its ok. You shouldn't sit in the hotel if you travel to europe. The location is ok. Not citycenter, but... bus stop is pretty close. taxi from airport will be about 600K. Even it was ok, I wouldn't stay there if I come to prague again. Staff wasn't very friendly. 1st and 2nd day room wasn't cleaned, it was pretty cold in the room and staff at reception wasn't very welcome.

Nice hotell, very fresh
The hotel was fresh and very nice rooms, but the the staff was very rud and they didnt like tourists. If you asked for help they said that you need to fixed it for yous self. I cab not recommend the hotel to anyone bacause of that.

Reasonable Value

Good value, location ok, decent room
Booked this place only because i was on a group tour which stayed here and wanted a private room. A little bit out of town but easy enough to get the tram in or cheap enough for a cab. Room was fine, breakfast ok, wifi would be good across entire hotel. Overall was satisifed due to price.

Great Hotel

The rooms were spacious. Three tram stops from city center. Free breakfast. Free internet. Helpful staff.
The location was very close. The breakfast was great and free. There is an computer in the lobby to check your email etc for free. The tram is walking distance and only three stops from downtown.
