Great lication

Staff, room size, breakfast
Staff were very professional and the travel desk was very helpful. The breakfast was diverse , catering for all tastes. We had 2 side trips and our luggage was securely stored each time. The hotel is well located to restaurants, the lake for evening strolls, water puppet theatre and close to several other places of tourist interest. We had some problems with our room which were dealt with quickly by the staff. I can definitely recommend this hotel and it's location to travellers to Hanoi.

Staff friendly and helpful but room not comfortabl

The staff and the 11th floor view of the city
We checked in late in the evening the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room wasn't very functionable. Overall not what I expected. Didn't feel I got my money's worth.

Nice but overpriced

Nice pool, decent breakfast
They were very kind to let us check in at 6 am as my husband was very sick and we had just gotten in on an overnight train. There was loud construction everyday that was borderline unbearable and without notice. Overall you can get decent rooms for half the price of tirant which doesn't really offer enough to justify its price point relative to other options.

Tirant Hotel

View from the rooftop, the pool, the staff.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful and able to book airport transfers. The room was spotless. The rooftop bar was fantastic, delicious cocktails & an amazing view of Hanoi. The staff up there were excellent. The pool is small but lovely to have a little swim and place to relax with such a good view.

Outstanding staff boosts rating to at least 9

Outstanding staff, location and comfortable
I thought the staff at this hotel was one of the best I have ever seen. They went way out of their way for me with a special need. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and I would up the rating from 8.5 to at least a 9 based on the staff performance alone. The roof top restaurant was lovely, had good food with a fabulous view of Hanoi. The breakfast was also quite nice. The location was excellent for a short walk to the lake. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who would like a pleasant stay in the "old quarter" of Hanoi.

Great location and worth for money

Great location, comfortable room, not a busy street in old quarter
All was good in general. Construction work was still on and it was pretty noisy in the morning. We were waken up by the cleaning ladies at 8am as they were talking outside and the wall was thin not blocking noise. I poured my make up remover liquid to a coca cola water bottle and put that bottle near the sink in bathroom. It was thrown away by the cleaning lady unintentionally as the bottle was only 10% filled. The staff couldn't provide immediate help and at that time it was 11pm. We asked the staff where to exchange money, and after we arrived the street the staff mentioned, we couldnt find the money exchange shop. Then we figured out the jewelry shops offer money exchange services

Brilliant hotel ever!

Location, Kind crews and Nice view at rooftop.
Classic rooms are almost same with other hotels but crews were very kind and if you can choose executive room or suite, it will be fantastic.

Fortunately we booked one night only

well-located, very good breakfast
The quality of the room was much less than we expected. We informed the reception upon arrival that if satisfied with our first night we would come again after our 2-day tour in Halong Bay. The room smelt mold and had a tiny window facing a wall 20 cm away. The bathroom was functional and the shower good. The breakfast buffet was very good. The other 3 nights we stayed in a hotel in the same neighborhood, in a wonderful room with a big window and a balcony for much less money.
