Great Value for the Price

The hotel is in the middle of all the Hanoi chaos and craziness. Easy access to shops, market, food and fun. Air conditioning so so, beds hard as a rock which is normal within Vietnam, and the power went out occasionally but again that is not unusual for Hanoi. The staff are wonderful and try hard to please with a constant smile and warm greetings. Breakfast buffet was great but get there early because the food does run low at the later time of 8am onwards. Cleanliness was not an issue but the work is still going there. Noisy at times and there was a lot of rubble and dust on the way to the rooftop pool. Not picturesque with workman galore and building stuff around but a nice respite from the heat. The pool is small so be prepared to chat with other guests right next to you. The windowless rooms feel odd but you do not go to Hanoi to stay in your room! We made international calls due to family matters and they were cheap and that was fantastic. No ripping us off at all. Overall this place is great value. Not luxurious but really reasonable and if you have kids it is cheap enough to book 2 rooms and have some space to yourself. I can recommend this property to anyone easily.

Noisy surrounding.

I cannot recall one.

It was nothing exceptional as during my stay, there was a few things that was a let down. The breakfast could be better. Also, the staff are not attentive enough.

I cannot recall one at the moment.

Rooms could have been brighter. Construction outside the room was noisy. Breakfast in the morning could have been better.

A Little disappointed

When I booked through Agoda, I didn't notice that the pool was under renovation, when we arrived the staff were very understanding and apologetic, after all it was not their fault. Consequently, and the reason we booked the Tirant was for the pool, we had five days in Hanoi without being able to swim.

Intolerable noise

Location, only staying one night

The room had no real window only one that opened out on to a brick wall 15cm away. The swimming pool was closed because of work in the hotel and the work generated a constant drilling noise from 8am to 6pm. Impossible to relax in the hotel during the daytime. I booked a double deluxe room, but when I arrived with my partner I was told I would have to pay an extra 15usd.
