Great hotel for enjoying the culture of Ubud.

Location among the mountain and garden, spas and friendly service.

nice in the woods view

nothing special, only lots of stairs

fast check-in, welcome drink on arrival. my room was very far from the reception, lots of stairs walked. This is not really intended for older, climbing stairs there. There were 2 large swimming pools and a small, small was closed . room was ok, had no luxury room or so. looked clean. would no longer want to sit here next time

Beautiful relaxing hotel and cant wait to go back

Peaceful, quiet, serene. The spring pool is magical.

A lovely hotel in a serene setting so you have to slow down and relax. Awesome just sitting on the balcony, reading and taking in the scenery. The steps could be a challenge but well worth the effort to stay in such a lovely, well appointed and maintained hotel. The staff were lovely. Would not stay in an adjoining room again though, can see through the crack in the door and hear a bit too much.

I like the environment of this hotel, but not the room that I stayed. It was located at the far end of the hotel.

Overall comfortable

Surprising full of plants, central, quiet

When I arrived at the hotel, noticed that it was just next to a main road. The hotel rooms on scattered on the slope of a hill, this probably has eliminated most of a noise. To our surprise, it feels as if the rooms are in a jungle. there's even a river running at the bottom of a valley. There's lots of steps - so not a good idea to stay there if you have just climbed a mountain (i.e. mount agung). The hotel offers free shuttle to nearby attractions and main shopping area - we hired a scooter across the road instead, suits our travelling needs better. The room can probably be updated - the dark timber cladded wall makes the room quite dark and the shower facility was not the best.

Just relaxing, and peaceful being in the forest

pool, staff & transquility

Awesome! It was just so relaxing, even thou there is stairs everywhere you go, to your room, to your pool and etc, but the green gardens that surrounds all the stairs are just awesome... the scenery, the pool, the artwork, the engravings, the staff take the time out to do little things...

Paradise found

Location, views, traditional atmosphere

Divine place, views to die for, rambling lush terraced gardens side of ravine down to River. Moved to river room. During our long stay, massive rooms, great balcony. Restaurant overlooks valley, Banana crepes at breakfast a must. Dinner not to same standard, but you can walk or shuttle into Ubud for choice from hundreds of restaurants. Fresh spring pool cool in the heat. Love this place it's authenticity and atmosphere.
