Wonderful stay
At first, we were quite worried as we couldn't find the resort at Railay west, after contacting the hotel manager, who was very helpful to give us direction, we finally reached Tonsai Bay after enduring a 15-minutes jungle trekking to cross the rock, hence only then we understand why this resort is mainly for rock climbers... (When the tide is low, can actually skip the jungle trekking by going along the beach) Because of its location, it is a hidden gem, not many crowd over there as if the place is totally private. The restaurant at Tonsai Bay (there is only one there) surprisingly provides delicious food. Staffs were very helpful, they even provide transportation to the end of the beach for us to take long tail boat to Ao Nang beach. Room has all that are needed. Overall this is a good place to stay is you can endure short duration of jungle trekking to reach there. We would definitely come back here!

relax or adventure
Only absolute beachside resort at Tonsai Bay, well worth the stay, much cheaper than neighbouring Railay beach. Plenty of activities available or just sit on the beach. Restaurant serves good food with small premium on other eateries for magnificent view and sea breeze. Friendly and helpful, would stay again with family, friends, or alone.

clean room with AC, close to the beach
The hotel is located close (2 min walk) to Tonsai beach, clean and seems relatively new. If you are looking for a room with AC, it is a good alternative to the cheaper fan rooms of Tonsai village. However, during the low season (starting from the 1st of May, probably lasting until October), they turn off the electricity during the day (9.30 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.).

A/C when it's hot!!
Clean, great buffet breakfast, nice staff and needed A/C. Tonsai doesn't have the best beach, lots of trash, but fun town and great climbing!

Nice room...Tonsai Beach for climbers only*
The room and the facilities were fine. This review is more to warn you: if you want to come and go from this extremely secluded strip of beach at anytime that isn't between 10am-5pm, it might cost you a ton of money. There's so little traffic to and from this stretch, and no road, so you'll often end up having to charter an entire boat yourself as we found out, after trying to come back from Ao Nang at 8:00pm, and again to catch a 10:00 transit connection from Railay. Room is nice, but I sure wish the staff would have explained this to us when we were enquiring about getting around! So, stay here only if you plan to stay here at Tonsai most of the time, or you'll end up with your own boat for 900 baht, for a 10 minute ride. You can always walk through the jungle or chance the connecting sand during low tide, but not at night...
