This is the first time i stayed in this hotel. Previously was along with Holiday Inn. Will go with holiday inn next time round as the breakfast spread is more variety, location is just opposite the beach and room is more comfy.

A centrally located hotel
Centrally located, Clean rooms, Wifi at lobby & pool

I encountered some problem & emailed the GM. Gotta give it to them for their prompt reaction to my early morning email. D manager found me during breakfast & explained the situation. On top of that my room was upgraded, i can check out as late as I need to tomorrow (flight is at 730pm) & a fruit basket awaits me in my new room. Thumbs up!

Very nice and good services generally
Near to many Spas, Nightlight, Hard Rock Cafe and local shoppings and within walking distance to the beach

Good location and near to many spas. The hotel spas is rather expensive, try one of those outside the hotel which is within walking distance and you can get very good deals there instead. Only disappointment is that there is no Wifi in the room and the Internet Broadband with cable is not free. Only free Wifi is at the lobby. For such a high price hotel I think they should have provide all this free and complimentary.
The breakfast is below par for such a hotel and the food are very minimum and not much variety. They should improve this if they want to be better.

Excellent room and location

Mostly was good, managed to check in early and a nice setup in the room with petals on the bed.
Booked the 1bedroom suite and it was very spacious and loved the bathroom.
Lobby was full of mad blood sucking mosquitos that bit us like mad whenever we're sitting to get our wifi connected.
Quite surprised they didnt have turn down service for room in the evening and when we requested they said they would have to charge us, even thou we stayed in the suite.
Apart from that, breakfast was good and staff at the breakfast area very friendly

Well worth it

I will definitely stay at the Destination if I take the family back to Patong. The Hotel ensured we had everything we needed. The kids play room was a great part of our 3 year old entertainment. The pools were very clean and the pool bar was a great addition. The room was very comfy and was cleaned every morning while we were at breakfast. The breakfast buffet was the reason for us to get out of bed early in the morning. Every lunch and dinner, they have a different special. The staff was so attentive. Seeing that we had a 7 month old and a 3 year old, they would entertain our kids, so that we could eat our breakfast. They made our stay a memorable one. Its a hidden gem within walking distance to the beach. In two minutes you will be walking on sand. I highly recommend this hotel.

I had a good good time here.
The ambiance, the pools, the friendly staff

I had a very good time here. The hotel is close to the beach and to Jung Ceylon. There is a nice swimming pool surounded by the hotelbuilding. A second pool on the roof has a magnificent view on the ocean. The rooms are nice, but the ceiling maybe to low. The staff was always very friendly and attentive. There is a well eqiped fitnessroom. During my stay there was first an invasion of chinese and then one of the american soldiers. The soldiers were behaving quite well. The only thing that bothered me was the smell of humidity in the lobby and the room. Latter should really be eliminated.

Great Location, Wonderful Service, Great with Kids

Speedy check-in and check-out, attention to fulfilling our requests (cot in room, location of room, etc), wonderful buffet breakfast (upto 11 am for the late riser!), great service by staff that had good English, excellent location (walking distance to beach, restaurants), a kids room with baby sitting availability, a good pool, and excellent cleanliness.
For Muslim guests, they had a separate egg station where the pans were not those used for pork, and the chicken they served was halal so one could easily eat at the restaurant.
The only negative was lack of backup electricity generator as we experienced an hour of no electricity 2 out of 5 days due to loadshedding.
