Noisy room
Very noisy room. I almost didn't sleep. The bathroom was handicap adapted so everything was floded when I took a shower. No breackfast included. The only positive thing was the location, neer the Liverpool station and the transfers for Stansted AirPort, suitable for out last night.

Convenient for business trips!
Staff friendly and helpful, left an item in the room and was able to go collect it! Small room and have to pay for other extras but in a good location for the City and not very expensive.

Good clean rooms but don't take a basement room
Clean rooms, friendly staff, convenient location
I chose a room without windows because it was significantly cheaper and I often get woken by the traffic in London when I stay in hotels. If you do this, you get a basement room so bear in mind you'll be just above one of the tube lines. It's OK in the week because the tubes close about midnight and don't start until 6 the next morning. The room itself was clean and comfortable enough. The real problem with the subterranean rooms, though, is the plant rooms and equipment rooms down there. My room (6) was next to a noisy compressor that would start up once or twice and hour, run for ten minutes then turn off. That's not much good for helping you sleep!
