Nice quaint hotel
Me and my wife stayed here for one night for our honeymoon. Hotel was clean and contemporary. Decor is very dark which didn't suit my wife. Executive corner room was nice and big, mini bar, nice bed, personalised smart tv, big shower and toilet. The shower has a glass partition wall so people in the bedroom can see you shower. Hotel Operates a free shuttle to the shopping mall and train station which is perfect. Great location, only cost 250 baht taxi from airport but close to everything you need. Resteraunt was nice with good food, breakfast was amazing with so many options, a la carte as well as buffet and it was good food and drink. Room service food wasn't good. Pool was large and clean situated on the roof with a bar, library, loungers, sofas, board games, tables and chairs it was a nice area. We let the hotel know we were on our honeymoon and we arrived to a decorated room with roses and towels shaped like animals, two free drinks from the mini bar, a selection of soaps, a hand written note from The manager and an hour of free drinks at the pool bar. This treatment was amazing, they really went above and beyond. My criticisms of the hotel was the poor quality room service food, the darkness of some areas of the hotel and on checking out the reception staff worked with local taxi drivers who sit outside and offered us a taxi to the airport for 600 baht. Luckily we had paid 250 baht previously and knew what we were talking about so argued for the meter. The hotel should help and advise guests in this situation not try and make money for the taxi drivers.

A quiet haven in downtown Bangkok
This is a great hotel to stay at: very friendly and helpful staff, spacious rooms, great pool and roof-top terrace/bar. It is a 5-10mn walk from Asok Skytrain station. I can recommend this place without any hesitation.

Great stay after initial hiccup with room
Wonderful rooftop pool area for relaxing and dining. Must spend at least one night happy houring and dining there. Definitely worth staying at if you are looking for a more homely stylistic stay than the usual commercial hotels around bangkok. Like the previous reviews, can only give a thumbs up. Our slight hiccup was with our initial checked in room: 516, which is located across the road to some construction work (not unusual in bangkok). Usually this wouldn't matter as the soundproofed windows would deafen the sound but the window in that room has a small gap so we were woken to the thundering sound of metal on metal after our first night. After requesting a room change, which the hotel were more than helpful in doing, we can only have good things to say. They also have a shuttle that goes back and forth to Terminal 21 which was very convenient to get out to the main road/BTS. Thanks for your hospitality!

Good Service But Location A Little Off
Generally we had a good stay here for 8 nights. Location is a little off the main road though, but they have free Tuk Tuk service to get to Terminal 21 where the BTS station is. However, coming back sometimes to the hotel can be a little walking involved and the streets are really dark at night to walk into the hotel. If you feel hungry at night, room service ends at 2230hrs and so you have to walk out to get food. Our room was big and comfortable but the only down side was there are mosquitoes in our room and quite a handful of it. And the mosquitoes are really powerful!!! They left marks on me itchy and red for days!! Good thing is their breakfast time is till 1100hrs but even if you missed it, they will still serve you breakfast to your room until night time even. Most of the hotel staff are friendly and helpful except for 1 or 2 which ain't really like their colleagues. Another sweet thing was that there was a handwritten note to welcome us by the General Manager herself and I found the gesture to be sincere and sweet.

All Too Short Visit to Bangkok
My wife and I had only one day in Bangkok and stayed at the U Sukhumvit based on Trip Advisor rankings. The Executive Corner Room we reserved was well laid-out with a large walk in shower. The hotel reception staff went out of their way to accommodate our short time in Bangkok by extending our check out time until 6 PM so we could spend the entire day exploring the city before getting ready for our midnight flight to Brussels. The hotel staff were very helpful with advice for planning our single day of touring. The hotel has a free tuk-tuk service from the Asok metro stop which we used on our return to the hotel with just a phone call as we arrived at the station.
