Dirty toilet seat in room CEMPAKA

Breakfast, swimming pool, location
I lived in room CEMPAKA on October 3, the toilet seat is very dirty, full of black stinking things on it, I immediately ask the staff to clean it, the staff said: "it doesn't look that bad", but it does! After I insist to clean it, the staff came and wash it, but some of the stinking things can not be washed, so I still can't use it. Except for the toilet seat, the wall is mottled, the shutter in the bathroom and the bed sheet is dirty too, it even has blood stains on the bed sheet! I was very disappointed because I saw lots of good reviews about Lestari, people lived here said that this place is very clean, but it is not true. Any way, it has good location, good swimming pool and good breakfast, but the facility in the room needs to be repair, especially the toilet seat ant the shutter.

Ubud stay

My suite, nice staff, location on Monkey Forest Road.
During my trip to Bali I stayed in 4 different hotels including a high end resort on the north shore that overlooked the ocean but but my suite at Ubud Lestari was my favorite. My room was a new construction, decorated Bali style and super cute. I just wanted a place that felt like Bali and I got it. This room had two big sliding doors that opened onto the balcony which overlooked rice fields on one side and a grove of trees on the other. This room had A/C too and I didn't have to worry about bugs. I have to say, though, that the biggest deterrent for me was that I had to walk down this narrow alley from Monkey Forest Rd to get to the bungalows. In the day time it's not so bad but at night, it might feel a bit creepy. The benefit of this is that my bungalow felt secluded in a good way and very serene. After checking out some of the other hotels, I discovered that this was not uncommon as many establishments were on lots that was set way back from the street. Other than that, I would highly recommend this place.

Surprised to find such a nice, quiet and calming hotel off such a busy stretch of Jalan Monkey Forest. the rooms were beautifully furnished and the view from the balcony was superb. I easily could have just spent ll my time in the room!

A hidden gem.

Location, comfortable and clean.
We stayed 4 nights at the Sandat Suite and it was everything we wanted. Located along the Monkey Forest Road and just a short walk into the alley, we found ourselves away from the busyness of Ubud and into a quiet, lush retreat that we find it hard to leave. Our room was in a newer building that was still under construction but that didn't bother us a single bit. We enjoyed the simple but tasty breakfast every morning at the balcony, looking at the greenery and listening to the ducks quack. It is very pleasant to be so near to nature while enjoying the urban comfort of a clean and modern room with cable TV and Wifi (the fastest I had in Indonesia). The room is huge, with plenty of space to lounge around (the daybed in the room or in the balcony). We enjoyed the pool which was overlooking a padi field. Highly recommended if you're looking for convenient yet a relaxing place to stay!

Fantastic b&b place for such a low price.

Peace n quiet, greenery/rice field setting, pool, sounds of nature, breakfast on balcony, willing staff.
Relaxing after hustle-bustle and traffic of Ubud town. Wifi/internet not so good, but works. Aircon and ceiling fan ok. Near to all amenities.

Amazing place in central Ubud

Incredible room; great location; friendly and attentive staff
We couldn't have been more pleased with this property. It's unbelievably quiet with nice views across a rice field. The room is huge!! It seems fairly new, it's extremely comfortable, has a large bathroom, AC, fan, refrigerator. Very comfortable bed and pillow. Breakfast, consisting of eggs/toast or pancakes, large plate of fresh fruit and of course coffee/tea, was served on our terrace. The pool was great. This was the best property of the three we stayed at over two different visits to Ubud.
