great hotel

food, decoration and pool
We arrived at train station where were the most annoying tuk tuk drivers in India. We asked for free pick up but since it was 11pm and many people we could not find the driver. Some information before arriving where to find him would be handy. We met the driver at hotel and he appologized but it was also our fault. Staff at check in wasn't very friendly but it was late night so I would be probably the same. Next day everybody was great. Hotel is beautiful and they even had amazing Indian band and dancers in restaurant even tho it is low season. Room was amazing. Raju (probably spelled wrong-sorry) at restaurant serving drinks was very friendly and nice and we had amazing beer drinking evening at the roof top. Everybody can speak English very well. I had no idea it is 3* hotel, felt like 4*. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Well recommended.

We were pleasantly surprised. Would stay there again. Quiet neighbourhood. Taxis easy to find to take you anywhere. Not very wheelchair friendly. But staff was accommodating to help us. Really great

Beautiful Hotel, Excellent Food

Aesthetics, Food, Food
The beauty of this hotel is something you need to experience firsthand. It's simply breathtaking. Every square inch is embellished, but manages to not feel overwhelming or cheezy. It's truly a work of art. The room was average size, a bit outdated, but spotless and comfortable. There was also a small balcony. The best part though, was the food. Among the best during our entire trip. I wish we had eaten there more! Grab the tandoor chicken -- it's smokey and juicy. Get the naan. Get the Shahi Paneer. Get another tandoor chicken. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. There is also live dancing and music every night, which was very entertaining. Don't forget to tip the performers! They're working for tips. Only drawback of this hotel is that it's not really within walking distance of anything. There are tuk-tuks out front most times of the day so it's not that big of a deal. Stay here. Or at least eat here. You won't be disappointed.
