Nature needs some help
Solitude is indeed what you will find at Ut Phoung Ecological Resort, especially with the coming of the rains. Except that is for the frogs who celebrate all night long. But not so loud that it interrupts sleep. The rooms are spacious, the beds are large and mosquito net covered (although I did not find a need for themwhen I was there), the fan is strong. The bathroom is tired and water pressure very low. The grounds are as described, full of fruit tress, jackfruit, durian, etc and the resort is bordered by pepper farms and the Honey Farm. The empty swimming pool needs some help to 'return to nature'. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, the food is fine and the beer cold. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Perfect place for me!
This place is fantastic and the staff amazing! But if you are looking for a busy place near every bar and restaurant this is not for you! I choose this place because I was looking for a nice and quiet place to relax. Turn out it was the perfect place for me! Yoga class in the morning, jungle sounds at night everything was perfect for me! Yes there will be some lizard in your room and yes you will need a mosquito net (witch is included) this is what it is. An ecological resort where nature is all around you! Thanks a lot for the perfect stay! The food is great the place is clean the location is perfect and if you want to go somewhere just rent a motorbike and you'll be free to go everywhere!

Very helpful host, thanks Sue!
The place is quite far from the city but we don't mind because we have a car, the bungalo is ok for family and groups and it is so cold in the afternoon and evening, we didn't even turned on the AC. The water is so cold and they have no heater, it's like taking a shower in ice water. We appreciate most of all the help and tour arrangements of Ms.Sue. She was very helpful. Thanks again Sue for extending our stay and helping us with the bookings.

Cute hosts ! Very personal
Lovely hosts , homely environment ,very flexible
Lovely stay with my friend. This place has a rustic charm . Go only if u enjoy staying in a jungle with little luxury . The hosts were v promt in repairing our door. They included our customised requests for breakfast. Lovely couple running the business. Nice place far away from the hustle bustle of the beach ...

Yoga and massage
My boyfriend and I stayed here after 6 days on the beach so the remote location was welcomed. The yoga studio is in a beautiful setting and sue who runs the yoga and massage classes is brilliant.
Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for relaxation and tranquility, food is a bit overpriced so make sure you have a moped so t

Remote location, charming hospitality
Spacious porch w/ hammocks, farm feel (peace and quiet w/ poultry clucking and gobbling), warm and helpfull staff
Relaxing. Just make sure you have your own mode of transport. It's far from town but the closest beaches are the best on the island (the north west ones) and only a 15 minute ride by scooter.

Peaceful and beautiful resort
The staff was very friendly and tze bungalows are sooo beautiful and nicely done.
It was a very nice stay. It is a wonderful place to calm down and relax. You should be able to ride a motorbike, otherwise you are basically stuck in the resort. But i can understand if people enjoy being stuck there. It ia beautiful and far from mainstream overcrowded touristic places. From here you can explore the island (with a motorbike) on your own!

out in the nature
nice place, clean
It's very far away from everything and I would just recommend it, if you wanna stay alone in a very quite place. It's nice, but you have to rent a scooter to go away, otherwise it's not possible. and you have to eat there, there are no shops or anything nearby. it's nice, but just for people who search lonelyness.
