Cosy and clean
Clean room, comfy bed and convenient with 7-11 just downstairs the hotel.
Overall, it was pleasant. Room is clean and decent. Due to the construction work outside the hotel, it was a little inconvenient to get to the hotel. Soundproof system is not very good. Could hear noise from the room next door in the middle of the night.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel
We were greeted with unhelpful evening front desk personnels upon arrival & check-in. Hotel rooms were small, amenities & toiletries were not 4 star standards. More like 2 star hotels. On consolation, morning front desk personnels were better upon check-out.

Pros: Good location. Value for money
This is the 3rd time I have stayed in this hotel. The nearest MRT station is Bras Barsh but walk-able distance to Dhoby Ghaut station which is a plus. A newly refurbish food court is just round the corner so it was not a major issue if your room does not include breakfast. Staffs were friendly. A praise for the cleaning lady on the floor where I stayed, she worked so hard and polite and catered for my request. However this hotel does not have a loyalty program to join which is a shame. I would like to suggest V hotel should have special promotion for loyal customer.

It was the hazy season in Singapore and the room smelled haze even with the air-conditioner on. There was no respite from the outside air.
