Good for chill

quiet, friendly staffs, nice chill
6.7
I stayed 2 nights for holiday use in seaview room. It was good chill for relax. Bit far from central area but it shouldn't be problem if you drive motorbike, hotel providing motorbike rental service or go by taxi to the city. Taxi cost up to 50-60Kvnd. However it was little noisy in day time because building construction in next door, even unstable wi-fi connecting all time. No breakfast buffet, no good taste for foreign tourists or western guys, you may cannot eat them all. Don't order spaghetti... But I still recommend if you want have good chill in Vung Tau. I maybe stay again.

Pool, photos, security
5.3
We arrived and ckecked in late. We stayed in weekdays so there was not many guests in the hotel. We stayed in a room is differnent to the photos on their website and not convinience to go to the pool or restaurant. Adding, there is a tower is building in front of the hotel so the view is horrible and a lot of dirts. We can't go out the balcony. The wifi didn't work when we check in and we have told them many times until 2 hours left before checking out, they told us you can use wifi now. What a shame for that service. We have breakfast with not many things left in a biffet, no more juice. I asked the waitress and she tried to drop the last drops for us. Then there are other guests asked for juice, they made them a whole new glass of juices. Just because they are oversea tourists. What a shame for their service again. Location is far and the main street to get to hotel from town is quite dark and dangerous for even locals. The only plus is the pool, it's clean and nice. So consider before making online reservation for this hotel.

Nice clean pool, room and restaurant

We wanted to get out of Vung Tau centre as our previous hotel was very noisy, and there were more rats than cockroaches. This hotel is very near to Bai Dau (pronounced By YOW!), 2 very big seafood restaurants (Ganh hoa and Cay May) and a lovely bar The Haven. Still only 65K VND in taxi into town. Hotel has a nice pool, is quiet and clean, pool tables and table football, bar and restaurant. Well worth it I say.

Very peaceful atmosphere. Disappointing breakfast

Clean, quiet, comfortable

Clean, quiet and comfortable. Helpful staff. People say it's far from the city but with a bike, it was literally a 5 minute drive. Disappointed with the breakfast. We were expecting a buffet for the price but instead had to pick two dishes from the menu. The food was substandard compared to other hotels in this price range.

I love the elegant room design , the breakfast in the hotel is very nice , but the food price abit expensive...abit far away from the downtown ,need to rent a motor to go out....something that I'm unsatisfy is the receptionist not allow to extend the check out time , we just wanna extend one hour, but they are strictly not allow

Decent place, pricy for weekend stay

Staffs, room
8.7
First I must disclaim that we often stay in 4-5 star resorts so our review can be a little harsh. The hotel is probably around 5-6 years old. Not everything is in perfect condition, but overall it was good. We stayed in the Luxury room, the highest grade based on the staff's advice. The room was good, the air-conditioner was working well, staffs were very nice. The location is a bit off, you can see the beach but cant walk over because the hotel is on a high ground. You will have to travel around 5-10mins to a public beach. There is a small swimming pool in the compound though, but we didnt you it. Breakfast is probably the thing that the hotel needs to improve the most. We came up for breakfast at around 9am, all of the self serving food were cold. The only thing warm was the soupy noodle, which must be prepared and served hot by a staff. For a US$80/night room, I would expect it to be significantly better. But I guess food is always the hardest part of a hotel operation. Overall, I think hotels in Vung Tau are too expensive. it could be because they cant really sell it during weekdays and hence have to hike the price up during weekend. If you are to travel to Vung Tau, book early and you may get a fairer value. That said, Valley Mountain is a good place to stay
