nice place to stay
Place with its own climate. I spent there 2 nights and was pleased with almost all. Stuff is very friendly and helpful. The only one thing wasn't good - very hard bed.

Very mixed feelings.
location,a Staff,Food.
It is not Easy to find so make sure you have the tel number. the staff are very good and so helpful .The breakfast was good cereal toast, coffee, omelette. The rooms are small with hardly any place to put your clothing.the cleaning was poor,we had to ask for the pillowcases to be changed as they looked like they had been used.We had been upgraded with a balcony and it looked like it had not been cleaned for some time so we had to request to have it cleaned. The mattress on the beds was so thin it was like sleeping on a hard floor. I am an older traveller and need more comfort a younger person will be happy to stay but I was only there for two nights.

Absolutely loved my stay here, clean rooms.
clean, location, staff
In prime location next to Chinese fishing nets, near the boat jetty for Ernakulan which is 7 rs, really good home stay, just ask for the toast to be well done though! :)

Great spot, on-time breakfast, and perfect spot
staff, location, porch
It's a quaint hotel that I visited on off-season. Only one other couple stayed at the time. I felt like I could come and go as I pleased. They had filtered water at my disposal, didn't charge extra for tea. Breakfast was eggs, toast, bananas + tea/coffee. English speaking staff during day who could help direct you with activities. Otherwise a sweet old man in dhoti that could help you with smaller things and a twinkle in his eye. I stayed in the font. I had a nice little porch I could read on in the mornings. I was near all the shops and chinese fishing nets. The room was the perfect size for me with fairly clean everything and a wonderfully functional whirring fan. Water was always warm. I never used the AC, so don't know if it worked, though the folks upstairs used it and said it kept the rooms quite cold. Great place for the money! loved my experience. :)

Run down, overrated place
Good position in Fort Kochin
The place isn't properly looked after and not very clean. The breakfast is very poor and does in no way justify the high lodging rate . There are definitely better places in Cochin. We stayed there over New Year's eve 2013. It's only the closeness to the fishernets etc. that makes it interesting. The Kochin beach however has meanwhile turned into a mere garbage dump, it's disgusting!
