The smell of the jungle.

Location, cost, availability

the hotel is back in service and walking the hall to your room reminds me of the deep, dark and moist jungle as you call smell the mold. The room is fine and does not have carpet.

Overpriced, dirty, cold showers

Location

Location was fine. Hotel outdated and dirty.Carpets in the main hallways stained/disgusting. Room old and furniture uncomfortable. No coffee in our room. No hotel information book to alert us to the amenities. Shower/ bath tub did not have hot water and the issue did not get resolved until the last evening despite repeated visits by "hotel engineers". There was a smashed cockroach outside our hotel door that sat there for 2 days before a manager picked up most of it. I alerted a front desk receptionist and a manager to a gross coffee/tobacco spit stain on the wall near the elevator and the trash cup on the floor and it was still there 2 days later. Makes me think that the staff is not being held accountable and that no one is walking the "grounds" to ensure the hotel is staying in order. Two managers did offer to change us to a different room with hot water on the last evening and we very much appreciated the gesture but it was too late in the game and not worth the effort to move for our last 6 hours in the hotel. We were offered a 2 complementary breakfast passes for our final morning but we had to leave the hotel by 5am so we were unable to use them. The main manager questioned why I didn't ask for a manager the first time we experienced cold water in the shower and I then asked and wondered why the front desk doesn't keep a log of complaints and why the front desk staff isn't better trained to anticipate when a guest is really having a terrible experience and to alert the managers themselves. Why didn't the front desk check back with us to make sure the water was or was not fixed? Regardless of the kind room change offer on our last night, there were still 2 dead cockroach legs outside of our room after we mentioned the dead cockroach situation to 1 front desk person + 2 managers. Definitely try a different hotel!!

The only thing good we have to say about our stay was the location was convenient. Everything else was very disappointing!

Don't expect washcloths

it was in Guam, it was close to a 24 hour Kmart
5.7
the 1st night we arrived a hugh roach crawled across our floor. We had wash cloths for 1 day of a 6 day stay. We were constantly asking for them but always told they were in the dryer. The cleaning of the room that they do is to spray something on the floor and pass a swifer. The breakfast buffet was over priced for minimal selection. Walking up the hill to the 24 hour Kmart and getting Little Ceasar's pizza was a better deal. I would not stay there again.

Sorry...just not that great of a place.

Beds were uncomfortable, the room had 2 twin beds, halls were dirty, WiFi not available in room, Breakfast was not the good, Bar was dead, at the bar there was a TV on, a cheap radio, and the lobby music all playing. The hotel needs a lot of work.

Rude/dirty/unrelenting

Location , key cards worked, ample outlets
4.7
Hotel stunk mold and mildew everywhere . Staff on two maybe three different pages with giving prices for food, times of things happening in their own facility. Housekeeping is horrible ! Had to wash my own floors ! Food was horrible. Roaches and flies around every corner. No laundry bc it was out of order for five days . Miserable. My five year old son was pointing out how gross things were.

Good value, friendly staff

Staff was great, location convenient, internet available

Friendly and helpful staff trying very hard to provide good service in a building that was closed for more than 5 years and is still in the process of being refurbished. They seem understaffed for the size of the hotel and the cleanliness in some of the common spaces shows that. Nice small convenience store in lobby. Within walking distance of the hotel and shopping shuttles.

You should consider another hotel

Location - in relation to the airport, shopping and Tumon Bay, this hotel is well positioned.

Awful is the first thing that comes to mind. This OLD hotel has been renamed and recently opened its doors again. Although I requested a large bed on a high floor, on check in they gave me a room that smelled of mold with 3 single beds. I requested a change and got 2 full size beds - very uncomfortable. The bathroom had not been cleaned & the internet did not work. I had to go the front desk and request the internet be connected - this took two hours of my time watching their teenage techie try to figure out the problem. The air conditioner never worked properly. On my last day I finally got the attention if the staff to correct this problem. It was 76 degrees in the room. I had to stay in my room and supervise their staff and ended up having to change rooms. Neither the manager nor owner responded to my request fit them to contact me. They did nothing to try and appease me. This place and the staff's customer service are simply AWFUL! Find another hotel.
