Nice onsen

Onsen, staff and onsen
Stayed here on a work trip and primarily picked it to check out the onsen. From the beginning I was very impressed with the staff as the were very responsive when I was emailing to make sure all would be okay for our arrival as we were flying in at 5am and wanted to get straight into our rooms (had to book for the night before). Throughout the day all the staff were very helpful, even if they weren't able to help us locate anywhere that was broadcasting the Bledisloe Cup (rugby union) on tv - not their fault as we couldn't find anywhere with it on either. The onsen is an interesting experience, a westernised version of what you would find in Japan. Still very refreshing though. All in all, I would stay here again if I found myself in Guam

Bed and view
Horrible experience! There was no water for an entire night and so we couldn't shower, or use the toilet. We had to use drinking water to brush our teeth. They said they were fixing it and it'll take two hours. In the morning, there was still no water and they told us to use the bathroom in the lobby. We went down for breakfast and there were flies everywhere, the workers had third world customer service (horrible), and while frying my eggs, the power went out and so they had to ask the electrician to fix it. it is the worst place ever. For that amount, you'll probably enjoy a motel more. It was definitely a third world experience. The elevators are shaky and scary. The only good thing about the place is the view, which you can get from almost any hotel on Guam.

The smell of the jungle.

Location, cost, availability
the hotel is back in service and walking the hall to your room reminds me of the deep, dark and moist jungle as you call smell the mold. The room is fine and does not have carpet.

Overpriced, dirty, cold showers

Location was fine. Hotel outdated and dirty.Carpets in the main hallways stained/disgusting. Room old and furniture uncomfortable. No coffee in our room. No hotel information book to alert us to the amenities. Shower/ bath tub did not have hot water and the issue did not get resolved until the last evening despite repeated visits by "hotel engineers". There was a smashed cockroach outside our hotel door that sat there for 2 days before a manager picked up most of it. I alerted a front desk receptionist and a manager to a gross coffee/tobacco spit stain on the wall near the elevator and the trash cup on the floor and it was still there 2 days later. Makes me think that the staff is not being held accountable and that no one is walking the "grounds" to ensure the hotel is staying in order. Two managers did offer to change us to a different room with hot water on the last evening and we very much appreciated the gesture but it was too late in the game and not worth the effort to move for our last 6 hours in the hotel. We were offered a 2 complementary breakfast passes for our final morning but we had to leave the hotel by 5am so we were unable to use them. The main manager questioned why I didn't ask for a manager the first time we experienced cold water in the shower and I then asked and wondered why the front desk doesn't keep a log of complaints and why the front desk staff isn't better trained to anticipate when a guest is really having a terrible experience and to alert the managers themselves. Why didn't the front desk check back with us to make sure the water was or was not fixed? Regardless of the kind room change offer on our last night, there were still 2 dead cockroach legs outside of our room after we mentioned the dead cockroach situation to 1 front desk person + 2 managers. Definitely try a different hotel!!

Worst Hotel

The only thing good we have to say about our stay was the location was convenient. Everything else was very disappointing!

Don't expect washcloths

it was in Guam, it was close to a 24 hour Kmart
the 1st night we arrived a hugh roach crawled across our floor. We had wash cloths for 1 day of a 6 day stay. We were constantly asking for them but always told they were in the dryer. The cleaning of the room that they do is to spray something on the floor and pass a swifer. The breakfast buffet was over priced for minimal selection. Walking up the hill to the 24 hour Kmart and getting Little Ceasar's pizza was a better deal. I would not stay there again.

Sorry...just not that great of a place.

Location, Staff, Price
Beds were uncomfortable, the room had 2 twin beds, halls were dirty, WiFi not available in room, Breakfast was not the good, Bar was dead, at the bar there was a TV on, a cheap radio, and the lobby music all playing. The hotel needs a lot of work.

Location , key cards worked, ample outlets
Hotel stunk mold and mildew everywhere . Staff on two maybe three different pages with giving prices for food, times of things happening in their own facility. Housekeeping is horrible ! Had to wash my own floors ! Food was horrible. Roaches and flies around every corner. No laundry bc it was out of order for five days . Miserable. My five year old son was pointing out how gross things were.
