A good choice in Tokyo city

Clean, near tourist attractions
As a 4 star hotel, the room is a bit small but is better than many other hotels of similar price in Tokyo. The room has a small window but can look far away. It is very close to the temple, the most famous site in Asakusa. Skytree is also not very far away and you can take the sea cruise too. A good place to stay in Tokyo and not so busy as other tourist districts. However, if you like shopping till very late, then you better choose other districts.

Great hotel

Staff friendly, great location, value for money
Nice stay but this hotel charge us 3 rooms night but Agoda charge us 5 rooms night due ti we delay 2 days deliver but we have call Agoda and inform them the delay. The person from Agoda said, Via Inn still will charge us 5 rooms night but during check in time, we checked from front desk, they said Via inn only charge 3 rooms night. So where is the other two rooms night monet goes?

Not of Japan standard.

Location, location, location
It was not difficult to find, just a 5-10mins walk away from Ginza Line Asakusa station, but a good 15mins walk away from Asakusa Line. Despite the walking, it was a good location. However, having been to Japan twice and stayed at numerous hotels and ryokans, this is the first hotel that is not of Japan standard in terms of cleanliness. I understand that in Tokyo (or Japan, in general), big rooms are a luxury. Room size was reasonable, but the hotel gave off a very run-down feeling, and we could see dust and webs in our room, something we never thought would happen in Japan. The front desk staff was also not as friendly and welcoming as other hotels, not greeting you as you go in and out of the hotel. Overall, I would not stay here again as there are definitely better choices out there.

Very good but can be improved

Location, Skytree View, Staff Politeness
Hotel Cleanliness was very good, the cleaners were extremely polite. Location, Superb I would say, I was lucky to get a room facing the Skytree, which, when I woke up I never failed to see the new icon of Tokyo! The room comfort, the pillows and blankets were abit rough and hard. It would be nice if they were softer. It was my first time purchasing tax-free items in other country and I asked the receptionist regarding the issue , shall I check-in my TAX FREE items ( including LAGs more than 100ml ) as I travel back to my country. The items were packed in a bag that looks exactly like the ( Duty Free - Onboard LAG sealed Bag ) So I was confused whether I can bring this onboard as it looks like the Duty-Free LAG Bag onboard. They tried to clear my queries but they were unable to provide a satisfactory answer. This was not their fault. There are so many TAX FREE shops in Japan. It is good for the staff to equip themselves with knowledge regarding this procedure. 1. TAX-FREE Items purchased ( LAG ) must be check in if more than 100 ml even though it is in a sealed bag. 2. The TAX-FREE paper will be removed by Custom Officer at HND/NRT Airport, after security screen. This was what I wanted to know, it would be nice if there is ***information paper*** regarding this TAX-FREE information to be given out , for the guests. I know Via Inn has many receptionists, there was a girl who can speak English well but too bad when I wanted to ask question, she wasn't there. To me I expect one the staff on duty to speak good English if you would like to claim the hotel as a 4 star hotel. I hope you take my feedback positively and do something about it Other than that, I appreciated one of ur staff who suggested me a better access to Disneyland, which the information sheets regarding bus schedule have been prepared earlier on. Please keep up the good work, I will definitely select Via Inn in the future if I have the chance to travel in Tokyo again.
