Location is good for the Sunday Walking Street

Location, Relaxation, Staff
Actually, Agoda passed our booking off to their partner but still asked me to pay the full balance. After paying the full balance for the hotel, Agoda sent us to the partner who didn't pay but asked us to pay. So, when we arrived at the hotel the staff asked us to pay. This confusion wasn't a really nice way to start our vacation and it could have easily been avoided by Agoda doing their job. At the end of the day Agoda gave everyone a lot of trouble.

Basic hotel in good location

This is a basic mid range hotel. The location is excellent- close to Sunday night market and easy access to everything in old town. The beds are very hard so be warned if you don't like a hard bed! Rooms are a good size and clean. The pool is shallow and the water is pretty cold. Staff are fine - friendly enough. There were people doing walk ups for rooms much cheaper than what I paid online.

Great location for Sunday Walking Street

Location, food and facilities
Well-maintained boutique hotel with great swimming pool and cozy restaurant to relax. Staff were friendly. Location is terrific just off the Sunday Walking Street. Hotel restaurant serves really really good authentic thai food. Probably slightly more expensive than the small eating places opposite the hotel BUT worth every baht in terms if the flavour, quality and cleanliness. A well-maintained and beautiful place to stay.

Poor staff attitude

Vieng Mantra great location and extremely convenient to the Sunday night market. A quiet development for you to relax with no scream kids running around. Great room size as long as you don't mind someone else looking into your room as the distance between rooms are less than 5 meters apart as we were out the whole day that didn't matter My family and myself have travelled various places in the world and this is my 3rd visit to Chiang Mai in 14 months (the last just 6 weeks ago), this is by far the worst hotel in staff attitude toward customers in all my travels, even the motels in the USA treat and speak to us better than the staff in Vieng Mantra. The level of service is appalling, the staff watch thai cooking show while breakfast is serve rather than channels for client's viewing pleasure. You should avoid this hotel

Too Expensive

Although a pleasant hotel, too expensive for the quality and style of accommodation.
