Tiny, Noisy, good location.
Room was a shoebox, an overpriced shoebox in comparison to other hotels, which may be as small, but come in well below the price of Vieng Mantra. The bathroom and shower were designed for midgets, small small small small small....did I mention the incredibly small bathroom? Rooms must have paper thin walls, as every noise, knock and shag could be heard at all hours.

Very nice stay
Everything is nice. The only thing needs to be aware is the path to the hotel may be flooded if there is super heavy rain.

Not Worth Money
Problem with check in, given ground floor Standard Room but charging Superior Room Rate. Standard Room was tiny with exceptionally small bathroom with shower almost over toilet, hole in front door, unclean exterior. Moved to another room on 1st floor. We had requested higher floor. Again old looking room and tired furniture just with a few paintings on the wall. Bathroom done out with 5 different cheap tiles, a strip of decorative paint and one strip of wall paper over toilet wall. Ugly on Thai standards. Advertised safety deposit box non-existent in room, but a key supplied. Have stayed at many hotels over many years in Thailand, charging less with far superior rooms. Staff friendly and welcoming.

Cosy and clean
Really happy with our stay here. We spent 6 nights here using a travel lady right out the front door to do day trips to fill every day. Staff were happy and helpful. A couple day trips required us to leave earlier than the breakfast times start and they were able to have fruit and toast and even eggs cooked for us so we didn't go hungry for the morning. Breaky is great. Happy we spent the little extra to get it. Great location. Great pool. Not many rooms so your not fighting for seats or space. Strongly recommend staying here. If we ever come back to chiang Mai we will be staying here that's for sure

Great location
The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool in the afternoon - towels provided. Breakfast afforded a variety of choices. Great place for lunch and dinner as well. The room was clean with a small fridge and bottled water provided. Pillows a little too firm for my liking. Good location for Sunday night market. Quiet location overall - birds can be a bit noisy in the morning.

Not only is the hotel beautiful but I has the nicest staff ready to help you at any time! The free water bottles everyday was great as was the breakfast. It's super close to very good restraints (literally across the street) and the pool was fantastic! Very spacious clean rooms.

perfect location and great service
The sweet girl in the reception is so kind to help us with any inquiry, and I like the swimming pool, though it is not very big. The price is very reasonable!

Great place, awesome location, but slow internet
This place was really wonderful. Rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Atmosphere is great. Staff is friendly. Location is in the middle of Old Town right near the Sunday market but still quiet. Only downfall was wifi was complicated to connect to and quiet slow at times.
