Getting run down
Naklua,security, and pool.
I have stayed here many times over the years but unfortunately this will be my last time until they do a major renovation. 1)The beds are old and hard. The linen is tattered and is no longer white. The blanket is nothing more than an old towel. The A/C was noisy. The furniture in the room was starting to become decayed and worn out. No kettle in room or any other amenity for that matter, which excludes them from being a three star. 2)The pool looks horrible as it has broken tiles everywhere, and the mold and fungus is growing from every crack. The grout between tiles on the deck is non-existent and filthy too. 3)The food is ok and the staff performance was better than previous stays. 4)Location is fine for me but some will not like the long walk down the empty alley way. Security is better than most as a fob is needed to enter the property from the back alley. Summary) Not worth the money as there are better options in the area for less money especially if you forfeit the pool, which in the case of the View Talay isn't fit for human use in its present state. Sorry View Talay but that's how I see it, spend some money and fix the place up!

Foul mouthed manager
My room was used while I was out one evening (fact) arrived home to find my key was not behind reception and was later found by the pool! When speaking with the female night manager she swore at me using the F word. Also at this time I noticed that my bed sheets were ripped. Enough said, a shame because my previous visits have been okay. Never again. There are many choices of hotels in Pattaya at this price, do not use this one.

Budget Hotel, Quiet, But away from the night life
Cheap, Quiet surroundings and Nice Pool
I like this Hotel for the money, Its away from the night life so rooms are quiet, Pool was nice, Large fridge. Better suited for monthly rental i think, must provide own bed covering (supply sheets and large towel only) Cleaning was always prompt.

quiet in the dead end but near main street Naklua
quiet, big room, 1 min walk to Naklua road
This is my second time staying in this hotel. I have been here with my friend 2 years ago for holidays. It was ok for a budget hotel with a big room. This time I came with my dad to ran some errands. The staff confused whatever I asked. I requested for twin room. I asked during checking in but they had no idea. I checked the room and it turned out to be double room so I went down to ask them again. Finally, I got the twin room. It shouldn't be that hard to get a twin room. The room is getting old and a bit smelly. I stayed here this time 'cause it is close to where I need to go and many restaurants are around.

OLD, Short term ONLY!Not for people with Allergies
Internet, Pool
The hotel has a great pool but that might be about it. The room was very dark which helped hide the dirtiness of everything. If you are only staying for a night and don't plan on spending a lot of time in the room than the cheapness of the room may work. However if you have any allergies I would not recommend. The Aircon does not work and blows moldy air into the room. Both my girlfriend and I became sick while staying here. Once leaving the hotel our sickness went away, luckily it was just from the excess mold.
