The tarriff was mid-high range but checkin times were restrictive - only between 2-8pm. A later checkin had to be arranged and even then there was a surcharge even though the staff lived on the premises.

Nice hotel in residential area

Located in a quiet area
Vikerkaare is a hotel in a very large residential house with many rooms. We had a nice cosy room with a bathroom included. It's furnished simply but friendly, so we felt right at home. It's quite close to the train station, but quite far from the city centre. So you would need a car to get around Tartu.

Small simple room with bathroom

Located in a quiet area
Vikerkaare is a hotel in a large residential house. So the area is very quiet, but therefor not very close to restaurants or any places of interest. Staff is very friendly. They offer breakfast for 5 euro/6 dollar per person, but I did not have any. Room was quite small with own bathroom with toilet.

Nice hotel

Very nice small attractive hotel which is situated very near the city center
The hotel is clean and because it is very small it's also very cosy. the rooms are big enough, the beds are good enough to sleep but the thing which was a little bit annoying is the railway. It's quit near and you can really hear the trains. And also the dogs outside are pretty loud; they're barking whenever somebody is walking in the street. The garden is nice to have a break.min.
Hotel Feature Tip: with very reasonable price you get a very good hotel room to stay.
