Excellent experience
I felt it great to stay at Viking with my wife. The resort enjoys two beaches, especially the long beach which is breathtakingly beautiful. The starry night left me and my wife a super romantic memory. The suite we took was clean and delicately arranged. Will definitely choose Viking if going to phi phi island again

Private beach with plenty of mosquitoes!
This place is a pretty decent walk from the main strip of the island, but it is a nice and easy walk full of natural stairs (rocks, tree roots). There are also long boats that will take you to and from for 100 baht. The resort itself is a very cool concept and built into the sides of hills and natural formations. There is a private beach near the restaurant and it's pretty good for snorkeling and swimming. I got a free upgrade to a better room and I was very impressed. Very good bathroom facilities and the amenities very on point. The bed wasn't too comfy and the mosquito net was kind of hard to keep closed so the bugs got in at night. The pros: Room set up Beach Free tea and coffee at reception Scenery The cons: Lots of insects There was not a long boat for the transfer from the pier In conclusion, I would probably not stay here again but I'm very glad I had this experience.

Very Messy Property
This place could be so amazing, but for some reason the property is in shambles. The rooms range from dilapidated structures unfit for sleeping to grand and luxurious tree houses with ac and giant bathrooms. You should be very clear about what kind of accommodations you want. I was so surprised at how dirty and cluttered the property grounds are. There is trash and debris laying all over the place. The location of the resort is a 20 minute walk from town, so you must take a long walk anytime you need to go to the store. The beach at Viking's is small and rocky, and you are better off walking 10 minutes to Long Beach which is pristine.

The staff were disinterested!
Great venue but spoiled by staff who never smiled. I think Phi Phi is such a popular destination that the staff have no incentive to provide decent friendly service. My kids renamed it GrumPee-Pee. Also they couldn't serve a cold beer in the restaurant which to my mind is unforgivable! Thailand is meant to be the land of smiles but it is not at the Viking Nature Resort I'm afraid.

Stay two extra nights!
I already left one super positive review so I suppose I should mention the negatives too. Our room had a serious red ant problem. The restaurant staff are pretty slow during the day. Would still recommend staying!

Well worth it!
Really love it here! It's in a little cove so like the only people on the beach are people staying here. Food is alright. I'm enjoying it more than my companion. We changed rooms the second night. Our new room was a few hundred baht more but closer to restaurant and beach. Bigger too. Really only a 15/20 walk to town. Or 100/200 baht taxi. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

Great but disorganized
The Viking resort is beautiful! Very clean, decent wifi, and big rooms. We had one issue where we locked the key in our room and went to get a spare. They could not find the spare, and said they would later. We arrive back very late, and the security guard could also not find the key. It took him 25 minutes to go and find a way to let us in. Also, water taxis are 100 baht per person each way. They only leave the resort on the half hour, meaning you are most likely waking to town, which is a trek. Overall, a great place!

Exactly what i expected and more
Perfect for a quiet get away. Away from the parties and loud music. It was peaceful and the hut was well stocked. The hammock in the porch was a perfect relaxing spot.
