friiendly and happy staff :-), the typical Bali styl Vilaa was very nice and cosy, clean place with rain forest feeling
This was tthe nicest resort I have evrer seen. Everybody was so nice and helpfull and I loved the antmosphere. Many aktivities to do and very quite and cosy home with rainforest feeling. Who wants to have som nightlife can go to the close city to see bars and restaurants aas well. Everything need is close bye. Thanks alot for the nice stay :-)

very quiet, calm and relaxed

quiet location, great pool ans surroundings lovely staff
We have been travelling around java and Bali and after staying in a few basic places we wanted to relax somewhere quiet and this place was great for that. It us quite remote in terms of not being close to much else so do not go here if you want lots of different restaurants and night life. I read in the reviews that it had been used for a yoga retreat and I can understand why. All the rooms are spaced out, the place never felt crowded and staff were really friendly. It was a nice touch that they called us by our names and were very attentive. The rooms are minimalist but not in a bad way. Very clean and simple. Shower could have done with more power but thSt is only complaint. Breakfast was good. Go fir the veg omelette! Also food in evening was really good although a little more expensive that some of other places we had eaten in lovina and north coast but probably cheaper than the south. I recommend the nasi campur special! Internet connection was very poor so don't go here if you rely on internet bit if you want a very rrelaxing place to read in beautiful surroundings, nice food and friendly environment stay here for a few days.

A Great Value for a Quiet Getaway!

The grounds, the price, and the staff
I loved every second at Villa Boreh, and I thought it was a fantastic value for the money! It is right on the ocean, and while the beach isn't large, it is possible to swim. The resort has snorkeling gear and canoe/kayaks. The pools are lovely and right by the ocean, so the sound of the waves is always there. The grounds are immaculately kept, and low on mosquitoes. The food is tasty and not expensive, although there are only a few people working the kitchen so if you're the last to order it can take awhile. The staff speaks good English and are incredibly helpful and polite. There's not much to do around, but if you're looking for a retreat, you can't do any better than this. Will definitely be coming back!

Quiet boutique hotel on the beach (no swimming)

Quiet, great master bedroom, staff
We had a wonderful 1 night stay and wished we could stay longer. We had the huge master bedroom bungalow ( 2 floors) of 150 m2 with "almost" a private pool. Other guests were using the other pool. Nice sundeck with sea view. Not many rooms, so it was quiet and the jungle garden well maintained gives privacy to each bungalow. The only regret was the bathroom access outside the room... The massage were very good. The best was the young manager Suma, a oerfect English and ver professional. He allowed us a late checkout as we came back from a morning trekking after noon. They also have a yoga shala area for groups and Suma is also a yoga teacher. It's not the most luxury in Bali but it's definitely a great value for money and a great place to stay away from touristic areas between Lovina and Amed

A Villa That will elevate your pressuredcity life

Design, Natural Nature Aura, Cheap!
It was really an amazing villa... the architecture, the design, the plants was all well planned out by the German Owner, Mr Molte. I had the pleasure to meet such an astounding gentleman with precise keen for details. Even the road to the villa was purposely cut off and he made it so that you had to travel the natural road through the bushes. If you can appreciate that fact, you know this villa is very well going to rid you of that city pressure lifestyle and give you a peace of mind. And the view of the beach and the proximity..... plus the price he is offering.... superbly fantastic great villa! Highly recommended!

it was a budged hotel with good quality

silent place, nice garden, central
the garden was really nice, the hotel itself was in a traditional style the rooms quiet old, but still acceptable, the standard was match to the price.

Quiet, Just a Retreat
Was a great place to couples who want their tie on own..

beautiful garden setting, very peaceful

well away from the usual tourist areas, very relaxing, a great escape
A beautiful setting, this hotel is in transition becoming more popular. The customer focus needs to be stepped up to the standard now being set by hotels in the south. Customer service wasn't bad, but not of a high standard. Our air conditioner failed on the last night, too late to complain. The toilet broke, was patched up, broke again, our room was not ready with shampoo, shower gel etc, but appeared the next day. Sounds bad, but this is avery private, relaxed place to stay in avery tranquil setting. A seasoned trveller will overlook the quirks and enjoy their stay.

A tropical garden paradise found in North Bali

Peaceful tropical garden environment with wonderful relaxing swimming pools, ideallic traditional Balinese villas! great food with fresh ingredients.
Having discovered Villa Boreh purely by accident on my first morning I awoke to find myself in a traditional Balinese style villa situated in a beautiful tropical garden with the sound of the waves in my ears. My first reaction was that I was in paradise and seeing a hornbill hop along the garden path in front of my villa seemed to conform this. Having previously travelled throughout Malaysia! Sumatra, and Java Villa Boreh was for me the ideal place to complete my journey. The lush tropical gardens, the soothing water in the pools, the wonderful fresh meals, the peace and tranquility all combined to create a perfect place for me to relax. In addition to this Suma and Komang, the Balinese on site management team and their supporting team were always very attentive and always smiling making me feel more a member of the "family" rather than just a standard guest. A perfect location, away from the far busier locations to the south.
