Impossibly Beautiful

The amazing surroundings - jungle, sand, surf and cliffs; the beautiful new rooms and common areas; the staff.
Yes the stairs are a challenge (but they are certainly achievable) and once you reach Villa Impossible you will know your journey was worth it. The Villa is modern, having been renovated this year (2015) and the views are absolutely breathtaking. The photos on the Agoda website do not do this Villa justice. It is clean, modern and comfortable. The staff are there to help you with any questions you may have (and cook you delicious food from the menu). There's free drinking water, drinks to purchase and free wifi. Highly recommended for something different in your Bali trip!

Amazing view comes with a price

View, Quiet, surrondings
Our stay at villa impossible wasn't a pleasant one. First day, we were greeted by the staff and manager Lisa she's a nice and friendly lady and speaks good english so our communication wasn't an issue. The location wasn't very convenience because it requires people to walk down a very steep cliff in order to get to the villa. this is not suitable for elderly and people with walking issue, there is no air con and hot shower too. all these things doesn't really bother us. what bother us the most is during the night our room is full of insects and we were bitten by bugs while we were sleeping, since it's near the ocean and forest so we didn't complain to the manager since she can't do anything also. Our money was lost/stolen too, it's also partly our responsible for not locking the safe box provided by them. FYI, we didn't locked for 1 day only and for the rest of our stay our safe box is locked. We thought that since we wanted to rest in the villa until the next day we just locked our room but not the safe box. we were in our room the whole day except for dinner we were in the villa's living room and most probably this happened while we were having our dinner. There were 2 staff with us on that night and one of them was with us the whole time. There's a flaw in their design, on the second level a person can actually access to the room through the window by walking on the ledge. For the current price and the bad experience i will not consider to stay in this villa again.

Unfortunately we stayed ony one of our two nights. The steps down a sheer cliff face was not as described when we booked. My husband could not do it twice so we climbed out and could not return. This accomodation is not for people over 45 or overweight. There was no internet, no TV, no hot water and no air con. There were large monkeys that luckily did not come into our room during the night. When I returned to collect our bags and say we could not spend another night, the staff did not assist me up those steps so I had to carry 20kgs up by myself.

Great views, otherwise not impressive

ocean view
This is a tough review to write so its easier to just do the pros and cons. First - this should be classified as a VRBO - not a hotel - There was only 1 small beer on the premise and the guy that checked me in said most people bring their own food and beverage in. VRBO. Second - this hotel is not appropriate for anyone that has any kind of mobility issue or isn't in decent shape. The only access point is down a really steep, narrow walkway/ staircase - no handrails and a steep cliff on one side. Our parents would not have been able to stay here.  You can also only access it when tide is low too so don’t come late! Pros - It is insanely beautiful and remote. The rooms have really clean and simple decor that is very zen - it perfectly complements the ocean and rocky cliffs below. You also have your own beach when tide is low and you can walk to Padang Padang beach. It was also a great shower despite there being no hot water. Con - This place is impossible to find. There is a sign at the top of the access staircase, but then minimal signage after that. I left my husband with the bags (so I wouldn't have to carry them with me) and had to ask several other hotels on the beach before I found it. Once I did find the right place the guy that checked us in was really unhelpful. I mean really really bad which is not what you want to deal with after an unexpected trek! We decided to have dinner there (the stairs didn’t seem like a good idea in the dark) and they ran out of the veggies that our meals came with - so we got half of what we ordered and were charged for the whole thing. And there was only one Bintang in the whole place. Oy! Long story short - if you stay here:  Be in shape, bring in your own food, liquor and mixers, and you should be ok to enjoy the incredible ocean view.

Enjoyable and relaxing with great surf

Our stay was very nice. Surf everyday, good food and cold beers. The room and patio had an amazing veiw basically in the ocean. Only found it to be very expensive for Bali.
