Hidden Charm

Quiet, Tasteful, Serene
This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. We were so happy to arrive after our flight, and also stayed on our last night in Sri Lanka. It's only about 30 minutes from the airport. The design of the hotel is so special - it is open, with water and nature all around. The design, with the lagoon surrounding the home, is so tasteful and simply beautiful. It's at the end of a road, so it is completely quiet. If you stay, make sure to walk back to the main road and down the path to the gorgeous stretch of beach that goes on for miles. We were with our two young boys and they also loved the pool. There is no menu, but the cook will make you a wonderful, delicious meal. They even got up at 5 in the morning to make us breakfast with fresh pineapple juice before our early flight. We were so lucky to find this hidden charm.

Peaceful, quiet, tranquil, aethetic.

Location, ambience, peace.
This is a really charming boutique hotel with only three rooms. We mostly had the place to ourselves, which made it feel like our own private villa. We swam, we ate, we read and enjoyed the mating calls of the koel and the gentle breezes. There was free WiFi, an attentive, friendly staffand a beautiful pool. Paradise for a few days!

Very spacious characterful villa in lovely setting

Lovely quiet setting, spacious interesting building and furnishings, friendly attentive staff, authentic fresh food. Good value for money..
We stayed here on the day of arrival and again on the day before departure. Lovely relaxing stay on both occassions. We had all our meals in house, cooked fresh by the excellent staff. We wanted to visit Negambo town during our second stay, but were prevented from leaving the villa by a sustained tropical downpour. Staying in during the rain was quite atmospheric, though! Would certainly stay here again if we return to SriLanka.
Travel tip: This villa is for chilling out in very relaxing surroundings, with pretty much butler service without the snootiness. If you want excitement, there are quite a few other places in Negambo to choose from. Staff can arrange taxis to airport or autos into town for you at reasonable rates.

Oasis in the middle of Negombo

Architecture, breakfast, staff, secluded envirnoment
We were pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a guesthouse. While it is a bit hidden and not in town, it is a wonderfully relaxing place to stay to get away from it all. Breakfast and lunch were delish and the very helpful staff made our time memorable. They even got us a driver whenever ours didn't show up. This was our first taste of Sri Lanka and we loved it!

Amazing place

Relaxing spacious stunning architecture and nice hosts
We stayed here on our final night and did not expect much but it was jaw droppingly gorgeous. The house itself is stunning, it has been so well designed. The bathroom was lovely. The hosts were really kind and showed me how to cook the lovely curry they cooked us for dinner. The swimming pool was good....i did not know anything about negombo but had I known more about it I would have stayed a while longer. Definitely stay here. The blurb on the website doesn't do the place justice.

Amazing villa, would recommend to everyone!

Relaxation at its most
this villa was fantastic, the ground were simply beautiful, so well kept and everything put in the exact right place to make for a relaxing and inviting feel. the rooms are huge and extremely well decorated. you can ask for dinner to be made their and the food is delicious, served to you at your private dining table in the outside area. simply a delight, would recommend everyone to stop by there!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Make sure you make it south to Hikkaduwa

Tastefully decorated paradise, best chicken curry!

embedded in nature, beautiful interior design
Hidden in lush nature with a stream running through the property, the place is a paradise. Staff takes care of you in an professional, attentive yet unobtrusive manner. Don't go out for dinner but try the most delicious rice & curry! The only downsides: A bit limited privacy and remoteness.

Lovely hotel, great staff

Very good food and great staff
Sadly the beach is disgusting. If you go for a walk watch out for chunks of crude oil in the sand. The hotel and immediate surrounds are wonderful.
Restaurant Tip: Great food at this hotel and clean.
