Good value
Nice big room with comfortable bed. Plenty of restaurant within walking distance. Tuk tuk driver runs about $20 a day although I paid that much for my half day. Bamboo train is touristy but it was great fun! It's $5 each for two people or $10 going solo. I was lucky to meet up with someone at the station and split the cost. It's a charming town and I enjoyed my stay there.

Almost but not quite!
I have mixed thoughts. The room was huge and the bed one of the most comfortable I've slept in. The staff were really lovely, fantastic tuk tuk driver, and the garden is really nice. But it is a odd place, just badly designed and maintained. Like many places I've stayed at when you look any deeper than surface level it needs some attention. The bathroom was odd, with a bath/shower and with another shower that totally flooded the floor - especially as it needed running for 10 minutes to get hot. For a place with such s nice outside garden area the room had tiny Windows and a glass less door so once inside the room it was not appreciated which was a shame and a waste on their part. The pool was a bit cloudy looking and didn't make me want to jump in to cool off, which is a shame as that's what I wanted a pool for. Only one umbrella and the area, beds etc just look a bit worn and neglected. There was a cabinet standing on newspaper that had been repainted which is just there by the pool, half done, sitting there. Not a problem, but it just spoils things that could be so much better if someone noticed that these things matter. This hotel has huge potential to be gorgeous if someone saw fit to update it and polish it up a bit.

Would stay there again if I went to Battambang but
The staff were really great. The room was nice and clean but geckos got in and were really noisy at night. They could use a shower curtain around the tub if you're going to have a tub. The pool needs more sun chairs.

We would stay here again.
Very nice hotel close to the New Bridge for access to the other side of the river. Attractive bar and grounds with a small but well kept pool. A bit of music from across the river and a chicken or two in the morning but generally quiet and comfortable.

Good pool, clean, convenient, pleasant gardens
Pool, Close to town centre, clean
This hotel offers a pleasant place to stay in Battambang. The staff were very helpful. Food in the cafe was average.

A nice place to stay. Good family room, great pool
Comfy, clean and pleasant
We had a great time relaxing by the pool. The family bungalow was well appointed, but had a lack off natural light (unless you want to let the mozzies in), but that was't a big problem for us. The day bed on the deck was nice. Staff were very helpful. The food was good, but a little overpriced. You can get better value food in the town a 10 minute walk or 3 minute tuk tuk ride away. If you like sleeping late the bungalow is not a great choice as the monks done the road start chanting very early in the morning. Early risers will be fine. A pleasant place to stay.

Could be so much better
Room size, Grounds, Nothing else
The rooms was a good size (in need a a little updating though) located in nice gardens with an attractive pool. The staff were indifferent to our presence and spent most of the time gathering in groups in the guest areas. The breakfast wasn't very good - the pancakes were the least bad option. The pool and grounds were good but there were almost no sunshades (much needed in this sun and heat). As other reviewers have mentioned, the wedding photography groups are awful if you're trying to relax by the pool. With some decent management and a little tidying, this could be a good place
