Nice enough but freezing
The location, the staff service, the bathrooms were nice
The stay was below average, for the middle of November all we had was a thin sheet instead of a duvet, room was freezing cold, had to sleep fully clothed and had a scarf on, was still cold, the radiator was on full but didnt seem to radiate any heat. Loved the little kitchen section with the fridge, this came in very handy, The people in the room next door were very loud and seemed to be having a party until 5am, and rhe other side were enjoying some sexual intercourse being very loud, which an older lady travelling with us did not appreciate; but no way of contacting the front desk to report it other than to go back downstairs to the front of the hotel.

Good Choice
The staff were excellent. Showed us 3 rooms for our choice, supplied hair dryer, Rooms basic but very clean and fresh towels each day
The only downside was that the lift was not working. As I cannot manage stairs too well, this was a problem. We were given a choice of rooms because of this. Staff were really good. Hotel very central, suited us as was near to relatives, whom we had come to visit. The entrance was not very inviting, but after that all ok. We would return

Great
Clean, Comfortable and Chilled Out
From the train station it is a 25 minute walk so we got a cab down there. The receptionist was great she made sure the room was ready for us and it was a quick and easy check in process. The room was great we was located on the 3rd floor... The hall way was under renovation, as we walked through we had got dust on our things but wipped off easily. The room had enough space for a double and the bathroom exceed mine and my girlfriend's standards! It looked like it had just been redone and was beautiful. Overall I'd say it was a 7.5 out of 10.

Great
location, cost, staff
Clean hotel. Great staff who are very informed and a hotel that is on the sea front that does not coat the earth. Very impressed.

great location but a bit noisy
The location is great. It is right in the center of the city, very near the sea and within short walking distance to may good restaurants, shopping places and sights to see (the Pavilion, Brighton Pier, etc.)
The staff are friendly. However, my room was not cleaned every day. I am actually conscious about changes in towels and bedsheets for environmental considerations so I don't mind if I need to re-use the towels for another day. I noticed that the bins are emptied on daily basis but the cups were not cleaned in the four nights that I stayed. I stayed in the newly-renovated rooms and was told that they are better than the old rooms. It is however, noisy. There was a hen-party on my last night and I could hear guests shouting on the hall after 2AM and probably also because it was Friday night the streets below was busier than the three previous nights. I could hear all the noise of drunk party-goers until around 4AM.

Great location for the full brighton experience
Great views
Great location right in the heart of Brighton. Great views of the seafront. Hotel was very clean and tidy, with towels and bedding changed regularly. However, the fabric and furnishings could do with a bit of TLC - pealing paint, burn marks from an iron on the carpet and furniture a bit beaten up from use. We requested a double room and got a triple! But did get the seaview we requested. Therefore the room we had definitely not for romance, with the sloping floor one bed on the slope and the other in the dip lol, a source of amusement for our stay. Having said all that you get what you pay for and at only for the room per night, we can't complain too much.

Quaint Hotel in the Yobbo district
Large rooms, nice staff
I was amused that they took my credit card details 'in case I broke anything' as everything seemed to be broken already. My stay was good with large rooms and nice staff, however on 3 of 5 nights I was woken up at 3 and 4 in the morning by drunken yobbo's fighting in the street. Please look up youtube 'Brighton fighting yobbos' - not the hotels fault, but something to consider if you are not going to Brighton with the intention of getting drunk, making a nuisance of yourself and disregarding the comfort of hotel guests. If you are on a Bucks or Hens night with all intentions - this place would suit you.
