Overrated
Location - close to the beach, however the beach itself is ugly and dirty
We booked double room, received twin instead and the staff couldnt do a thing about it. The hotel is close to the beach, however the beach itself is stinky, dirty as everything else in sinaouk.

On the Beach
Excellent location at quieter end of Ochheuteal Beach, opposite beach and many eating options. We loved Khins Beach BBQ. Hotel has nice size rooms with open air dining room on top floor. Pool very welcome at end of day.

their handling of the reservation is terrible
The best thing about the hotel is the location. Most of the staff are accommodating. The room are towels of good quality for a 3 star.
Although the overall stay at the hotel was pleasant enough, the dining cleaning and bellboy staff being especially nice, the way key staff handled my need to unexpectedly cut my trip short was very unprofessional. Although I gave them more than 24 hours notice that I would be leaving early due to an unexpected personal matter, they refused to refund me for the day that I did not stay at the hotel. Their policy stated you must give 24 hours notice and I did that and more. Yet when attempts were made to contact them about refunding the unused day of the stay, which I paid in advance, they did not respond to Agoda's phone calls and outright lie about being able to get back in touch. This was extremely unprofessional and ridiculous especially considering small amount of money they are stealing from me. It is a classic case of winning the battle to lose the war as I will never stay with them again for their dishonesty. The decision for any traveller who wants to stay with them is do you take a chance on not having any issues arise such as mine and have a good stay or need some sort of professional courtesy and customer service and not being able to get it. I for one, operate more on a standard of principle rather than dollar value and I'm not willing to give any further amount of money to such an unprincipled place of business. It is unfortunate to give such a negative review for the staff who were very courteous and accommodating but again it is very irritating the way the reservations team and some of front desk reception handled my situation. I would give their performance one star.

Company retreat at SHV
We choose this hotel because of its location and promotion deal and we stayed with a group of 43 guests. It is close to the beach, but at weekends it is quite loud due to the parties on the beach. The breakfast (buffet) was good with Western and Asian dishes, fruit and salad plates etc. In my opinion some of the facilities could be cleaned and maintained better. We booked all rooms (15) over the platform agoda, but were really surprised that few of our bookings were processed by booking.com, which was confirmed in a email from Agoda in a very little sentence stating processed by booking.com. Interesting was the response of the receptionist, they said to me -costumer I am confused about my bookings, without listen to the costumer and try to understand, why a costumer is concerned booking rooms with Agoda (and do the review too), but booking and full credit card credential are passed to hotel by booking.com, without given consent before the transaction. At the end I am quite convinced the receptionist manager still haven't understood about the booking issue.
