cant stand the service
This is my 5th stay at this hotel, I have had better stays then this last one. upon checkin i was surprised with a mandatory 2000p deposit even though the staff recognized me and acknowledged my frequent stays. the internet in this hotel is pathetic at best, i complained and they sent up a personal pocket wifi unit that was unable to connect me to the internet. menu items are never consistently available, lots of noise from the street even though I was on the 3rd floor. some of the staff are too busy talking to each other to be bothered with helping guests. staff eat in the same area as customers which takes up space that should be for paying customers. one on duty staff member was fast asleep on the lobby couch, soo sad i will not be staying here again.

Disappointing circumstances
cockroach was loitering inside the cabinet. wifi connection was very poor. i advised they should do something about this since most of the guests here are foreigners. The most disappointing circumstance was when they asked us to vacate our room and they will upgrade us to a de luxe room since according to them someone has "requested" for that certain room which we were occupying at that moment. We hurriedly collected our things and placed it to our friend's room so they can clean it right away and since we were in a hurry to attend to a friend's wedding. We left our room keys to the front desk so that they can just use the vacated room whenever they need it and told them we will just take the "new room key" once we're back. Unfortunately when we were about to take the new room key, they told us we wont be transferring room anymore since the guest who requested for our room has no time to wait for us to come back to the hotel! What the h***!? what was the use of us leaving the room key to them and collecting our stuffs?? we just wasted our time and effort! we were happy they offered us a new room since there was no wifi connection in that room at all! we demanded for a change of room instead since we already moved out from that room. But they couldn't give us. they couldn't even do something about the wifi! so disappointing. I wouldn't dare to stay in that hotel again..even to recommend it to my friends.

Three things i liked the most is the location, the ambiance and rhe proximity of the hotel to plm
Ive been an agoda customer for several occasions already, ive stayed on quite a few hotels already and this is the worst hotel ive ever been.the wifi connection is slow, actually theres no wifi connection at all, theres only one conplimentary coffee for two people, no disposable slippers, no vidae, no safety deposit box, no hangers for our clothes.

Old hotel but neat
Big Room, Connecting Rooms, Big Comfort Room
Located in the heart of Intramuros, the hotel is quite old but really decent. It doesn't have elevator so you need to carry your stuff on your way up (you can always ask for help in the reception though). The room is very big, as in, huge. You won't be able to maximize the space. The comfort room is quite huge as well. The veranda however is small, you won't be able to stay there very long and it doesn't have any view. I believe they offer tours, so if you're into historical stuff, go for it.
