An Ant Farm
We woke up the first morning to have about 30+ ants crawling around to sink, No big deal said my fiancé. She just washed them away and the rest of the stay, she did the same thing, What got me was, I ordered some food on the second day lunch and the plate came with ants in my dish. I took it over to the bar and told them I didn't want it because of the ants. I am American we don't usually like bugs crawling around in our food. The waitress then picked them off the plate and put it in a microwave and returned the same BLT sandwich to me which is now soggy. I felt EXTREMELY insulted that they would do something like that. I refused to pay for my BLT and it had to go all the way to the front desk MGR. We ended up eating at the Blue Rock Resort for the remainder of our stay and I really wanted to switch hotels but decided not to. Wild Orchid Inn in Angeles saran wraps all their food and it is unwrapped at your table. Still hot and safe and free of any bugs. They should take note and do the same.

Unfriendly Staff Makes Stay Unpleasant
Some of the staff during our stay were nice/pleasant. However, there were many who were not. Service at the restaurant was not good. They seemed to huddle and talk, or be busy doing paperwork at the bar counter. Laundry service was not available when I called to have clothes washed. Car service was initially not available, but when I complained about the poor service, I received a call back to my room telling me that they have another driver. I will not stay here again. Your facilities are nice; however, it takes a good staff to make a customer's experience worth coming back. You could take a lesson from Lotus Garden in Manila, or Pacific Breeze in Angeles City. They take care of their guests.

Wild Orchid Subic bay
There is a need for improvement and attention to details, we saw a rat at the swimming pool, we had a hair in the breakfast, the airco was not working properly as well as the television and the shower was spraying everywhere, I think this hotel needs a renovation, the one they have in Angeles is surely much better.

No where as good as their hotel in Angeles
Wild Orchid in Angeles is an amazing place. Perhaps I'm just jaded after seeing that property. This one was nice but not as nice as there.

Pay as you go
At first glance, I thought a well presented hotel with a nice view. With a young child I couldn't believe I was charged for the extra bed even though we were allocated a family room. I was also disappointed with the fact we had to pay for breakfast not even with complimentary tea or coffee. Overall, a little disappointing stay. I would consider another hotel in the future.

Way Over-priced. Many better options for less cost.
For 3,500 pesos I had a small older room with a view of the parking lot. There are several better hotels for the same or less money (e.g. Subiza). The food was ok ... nothing special and over-priced. Blue Rock is better. The staff was ok ... not a cut above as one would expect when spending that kind of money. The restaurant staff prefers to chat with each other or text friends rather than pay attention to customers. Overall a disappointing experience and I won't stay there again.

Very Good
One of the very best hotels in the region. Great pool. Clean rooms. Quite reasonable value for money. Well trained staff. Well worth a visit.

I went to the resort with a senior citizen and a toddler and surprise their elevator wasn't working. We were situated at the third floor which is technically the fourth floor due to their weird count in floors. One of the resort staff wasn't helpful.
