Expensive for what you get.
It was fun staying in a tree house, but the novelty soon wore off.
We stayed 2 nights at the Yala Cottage Camp which was too far from the town, with no obvious signs to assist finding the camp and therefore difficult for tuk-tuk drivers to find. The evening meals were bland and very expensive (we paid more here than anywhere else in Sri Lanka for a meal). The Yala National Park tour which they organise and for which we paid for separately, was good, but we felt we were ripped off by the whole experience. For example, people who had booked the Yala National Park tour, which included a night at the Tree House, dinner and breakfast (approx R23,000), paid less than we did for the day tour (R26,885). I would not recommend this as a place to stay.
