Worst ryokan in Japan
Location was very good
Despite a booking for 2 rooms for 3 adults, they put us in one room despite taking my confirmation print out. Later on, I retrieved Agoda booking confirmation on my iPad to show the man and he finally gave us a second room; he did not answer the door bell and knock on his staff quarters for about 15 minutes!! There were piles of washing in the corridor leading to the rooms, and also he did not show us the fire exit - there were long corridors with rooms, and a bit confusing as these were two houses connected to each other.

a very typical Ryokan
location, room space, bathroom
No English, but not really needed here. A simple Ryokan with spacious tatami rooms. Shared family shower/bath room in Japanese style with hot tub (perfect after a long day). Quiet enough and not that difficult to find. Toilet is a bit small though. A good way to experience Japan.
