Excellent service

Comfort, cleanliness and helpful staff
My stay, albeit merely for one night, was very good and I wouldn't hesitate recommending others to it.

convenient and pleasant hotel

centrally located, good value for money, british charme
Comfortable room, although I requested a room away from the street, which I also received, in hindsight I would have preferred a steet fronted room as they look brighter and bigger with a bay window. The traffic noise I wanted to avoid didn't really seem to be too much of a problem. Staff were friendly and helpful with storing our bicycles for the night. It is an old hotel, the rooms are bit behind the times, but for the price absolutely fine!

great first impression, rooms need remodeling.

entrance, dinning room, garden.
Stay was ok. Bedrooms had polystyrene tiles in bathroom, also a very poor shower. Room was clean, but for the price very poor.

lovely hotel down stairs, bedrooms very poor.

Great restaurant, bar, outside garden seating.
Lovely, but bedrooms needed an overall make over. In the bathroom the ceiling had Styrofoam tiles, a big fire hazard. Internal lock for bedrooms landing was broken.
