Good quality dorm with nice breakfast

Clean, comfortable bed, enough lockers
8
Overall that was a good accomedation. Big lockers in dorm, very clean & comfortable bed and pillow. Air-con is working very well. Nice cafe on the ground floor. Breakfast including were pretty good! You must visit their exhibition hall of HK public housing history, highly recommended, I love it even I am a local :) The only problem during my one night stay was about the toilets inside the dorm. There were 2 bathrooms, each bathroom has 1 toilet and 1 shower stall. 1 of the shower stall was broken. And then the floor in the other bathroom were ALL WET for whole day. I am not sure is it because my roommates or any other reason. Anyway, I took shower before check-in so that was fine for me. I will come back again! :)

good hotel

clean, cheap, free breakfast

it was nice. i cannot not hear my roommates' loud conversations though. it's pretty hard to sleep at times. but it's fine, that's always the disadvantage when sharing a room with other people. i love that i feel safe in this hostel. i love that it's clean. i love that the surrounding streets are not too crowded, day and night. it looks far from the nearest train station but it really isn't.

2 night stay (solo lady traveller)

Security, Cleanliness, Room Size (Big)
7.7
It took me by surprise that I had to climb a hill with my heavy luggage when I first arrived. Check in was smooth, the 2 young ladies at the front desk were polite and helpful. Security is very good, especially for a lady myself. The room I stayed in was on the 4th floor and it was huge and spotless. The toilet was very clean and this really gave me a first good impression. However, there was a problem with the heater(shower head). I could only get extremely hot water or freezing cold water. I reported this matter but the housekeeping lady came to check and said it was fine. Tried again and it still couldn't give me warm water. I guess that was the only downside. Located in Sham Shui Po, you will be able to indulge and soak in the local culture where there are eateries at every nook and cranny. I even managed to find a underground supermarket! Distance from the hostel to MTR is probably a 10 min walk. To end off, there were complimentary beakfast vouchers given and it was a simple yet memorable meal. I would recommend this hostel to anyone and everyone. Thank you YHA Mei Ho for the pleasant stay. I will definitely stay here again.

Great Hotel - Recommended

Environment; service; location

Represents excellent value for money. The location off the main tourist thoroughfares, but the MTR is easily accessible. Staff courteous, efficent. Rooms spacious and well maintained. A very good and affordable stay for those wishing to avoid the blatant racketeering of the 'star' hotels in the city.

Pleasant stay.

Hostel was clean, staff were polite and value for money.

Stayed for four nights while on a solo trip to Hong Kong. Location was decent, about 5-10mins walk to the nearest MTR station (Sham Shui Po). Hostel was clean and receptionist was polite while explaining to me the terms and conditions of the hostel. Breakfast provided was sufficient even when there's only three choices. There's also a laundry room to wash/dry clothes for guests at 30HKD per cycle as well as computers/wifi to use. All in all, a very good value choice for travellers who need a short stay.

Good stay

Big room, clean & good air con
6.7
Overall stay was good, nice big rooms which is unusual for Hong kong. We were a bit disappointed with the reception staff, after travelling all through asia and this being our last staff we felt the staff here didn't offer the same help that reception staff in other places offered! Also, we felt the food was a bit over priced for a hostel and if you didn't like the breakfast they were offering you had to wait until 11 before they would take any other food orders!
