Nice hotel
Maintenance poor and a coat of varnish to the woodwork in the guest room would brighten up the place. Staff very friendly but didn't seem to know anything

Not that worth it
Clean, spacious
We got a nice spacious room with a balcony view overlooking the pool area. Good wifi. Clean washroom with nice shower. Hotel is a bit farther away than most other places. Pricey for what it's worth. Most of the staff's English wasn't great, and they had difficulty helping us. Prices (e.g., for the ferry to the islands) when quoted were all overpriced as well. Also our door looked like it had been pried open before or something. We made sure that it did lock, but from the outside it looked like it didn't shut tightly.

Probably not a repeat guest
Pool; open air lobby, price
My stay was minimally satisfactory. As other reviewers have noted, the property has much potential but needs TLC----especially the wonderful pool albeit with its deterioration of tiles! The room was large; needed scrubbing; bathroom had shower only with lukewarm, low pressure water delivery thru a Eco-shower head. Saw a bug or two at night that apparently crawled in from the drain. Mosquitos infiltrated the room through gaps in entry and balcony doors. I was awakened itching several times. WiFi was decent; staff needs improvement although they were friendly. Their command of English communication was on the high end of poor. Breakfast was ok. Location is about 3 blocks from the beach but easily reachable by a short walk. A/C unit seemed small for the room but it did cool. Mattress is hard; linens quite worn. Housekeeping gave no attention to the details of their job; very inconsistent.

Ex Cambodian resort now Yolanda Hotel
Staff pleasant,Location,
It is sad to see that many of the things that remembered before come back to this hotel are gone from the coffee at the room to the toilet paper, the buffet breakfast with garlic tomatoes gone. If this hotel is to survive needs a cash injection to re decor rooms with old air conditioned needs to be competitive no hair dressed at the hotel despite a saloon annexed to the grown floor. No dinner users at night shows lack of public and also the bar...Pool felling apart and noise on rooms... I wish good luck to the hotel it will needed to survive.
