Lovely hotel with great location

best location, best rate and best staff
I traveled with my family and when we arrived in the hotel, I amazed that this is small hotel but green. The location is perfect. The staff is very friendly. I really recommend and would like to return to this hotel again later.

cozy and convenience for reasonable price

great location, reasonable price, cozy room
Went to Yulia last week with the rest of family, booked 3 rooms. The super deluxe room was spacious and nice with 32"LCD TV. Unfortunately there's no connecting room of this type. The deluxe room is standard, no difference with Poppies Hotels. Location are great, next to convenience store, resto, mall, and only 3 minutes walking to Kuta beach. Compare to Poppies Hotels, Yulia is much more convenience since its located right on jalan pantai, especially for those who comes with a car and need a parking lot. The swimming pool is "cute" but they keep it clean and suit or those who comes to bali for the sun. Breakfast menu is limited, but it's not so bad.

Nice hotel for the price

Airport transfer, free breakfast
I enjoyed my stay at Yulia. The hotel is very close to the beach and nightlife. They also picked us up from the airport which was a godsend. We were exhausted from travel, and didn't want to deal with a cab in that hectic congested airport. We received free breakfast each day which was delicious. The only cons were the area is a bit hectic. The street the hotel is off of has a lot of taxi traffic which means constant honking. The area is geared toward tourists so there is a huge new mall and a lot of pricier shops around. After 3 nights we fled to Legian which is right next door but much more of a relaxed atmosphere.

Lovely hotel, fabulous staff and central location

Clean, friendly and excellent amenities
The staff couldn't have been more helpful when an emergency situation arose and required me changing my room from a single to a twin, there was no fuss - it just happened smoothly and at no extra charge. Outstanding in all areas of hospitality and service. I can't wait to come back.
Shopping Tip: Really close to Matahari department store and the beach and many good restaurants are really close.

Great location, good restuarant

Superb location near to everything
kuta beach is 5 mins walk from hotel, turn right lagian, beachwalk shopping 10 mins walk, lots of nice cafe, poppies lane along the way. turn left, 10 mins walk to discovery mall, waterbom park, lots of shop, cafe, restuarant on the way. good size room & bath room, huge beds, next to busy jalan pantai but quiet inside hotel. beautiful garden & swimming pools.
Restaurant Tip: Hotel's restuarant at the entrance is nice & food taste good.

Lovingly maintained hotel with a touch of history

Simple but elegant design and the wonderful pool
Another oasis in the heart of the Kuta district, Yulia Beach Inn is just a stone's throw away from the gate to Kuta Beach. It was evident to me that, despite its age, the resort continues to be lovingly maintained by its owners. The rooms simply furnished but comfortable, the staff courteous and friendly, and the tropical flower-lined walkways peaceful and serene. The small pool, its waters a deep shade of blue, served as the perfect centerpiece to this beautifully rendered hotel.

Great location and value for money.

Central to everything (shopping, beach, nightlife, food) especially for the money.
This hotel is located right in the middle of everything. Less than 5 min walk to beach, 10 mins to the big Kuta shopping centre, the water park and the main strip with all the bars and restaurants. Free wifi a bonus and can hire scooters for AU$5/day. Nice pool and restaurant food is pretty good too (breakfast buffet was excellent). On the down side the restaurant bar had almost no liquor (just some wine and local beer)! The staff are friendly, but nod and say yes to everything which can be frustrating when they don't deliver something they didn't know they agreed to do... get them to repeat back to you what you want if you want to be sure to get it. Overall the place is in a great spot, great value for money and I would stay again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Scooters are convenient to get around and can be parked pretty much anywhere. Cost 50k Rup (AU$5)per day from the hotel and petrol is stupidly cheap too. Beware though, the driving culture is best described as semi organised kaos so hold on tight. Also best to have an international driver's licence because the Police can fine you for not having one (almost happened to me and have to got to court!!) and it also voids you travel insurance (fine print on most policies specifies you need a valid licence for the place you are riding). In Victoria, Australia you can get an international licence from RACV for $35 (lasts 12 monthts). All you need is a current driver's licence and a passport photo. It takes about 10 minutes.
