Cold, cold and more cold. Room had little to zero heat, dining area cold to point of almost having to wear gloves during breakfast while rest of hotel area not much better. Once one of these nicest in embassy district now becoming rundown badly in need of facelift along with better management.

Awful - no way near a 5 star (or 3 star)

The lobby is quite nice. The location is good.

We booked one of the most expensive rooms available on the executive floor and it was awful. The room was dark, smelly with stains on the floor and upholstery. The view from the window was (for what it was -hidden by dirt and grime). The bathroom smelled terribly. We asked to be moved but there was no availabilty. Also to add further insult the pool was closed until the 30th april as was the sauna. We paid for one night and checked out immediately. The only redeming feature was the staff - who did what they could. Also this review isn't intended to criticise the housekeeping staff - they are probably doing the best they can with a room that hasn't been renovated in 20 years. This is not 4 or 5 star (i think 3 star is even pushing it) you can get very much better for the same price or cheaper in Beijing.
