All GREAT”
I loved this hotel - refurbed to a very high standard about 2 months ago - rooms really well equipped with everything you need - including bathrobes, slippers, umbrellas, iron and board, safe, complimentary mini-bar etc - and everything worked! Rooms and public areas very stylish and tastefully decorated. Highly recommend. About 5 mins walk from South Kensington tube which is on the Piccadilly line and so you can be in Leiscester Square, Piccadilly, Covent Garden in no time at all.

Good location”
The hotel is in a beautiful area within walking distance to museums, churches, restaurants, and the tube station. Rooms are on the small side but enough for 2 people. It was a pleasant stay until our room next door started to make noise at 3 am. Hotel soundproof can be improved.

Great location and Cool Interiors, Very Small Room”
Excellent location for wondering round South Kensingto's local restaurants and attractions. However, the room felt very small compared to other hotels I have stayed at in Central London. Comfortable beds and good hearty breakfast.

Centrally located, quirky ”
Quirky, centrally located (5min to South Kensington tube station) and very instagrammable. Concierge and front desk service was unfaultable, tho room service was hit and miss (u never know what ure going get - we had ONE toothbrush one day but no refills of bottled water, or no replenishment of hand towels or mini bar but a mouth wash bottle the next). We stayed at at both the basic and luxury room and honestly, there’s hardly any difference in room size or service for the amount paid therefore recommmend to go for the standard room.

Not a great stay ”
Not clean in the rooms mini fringe had opened drinks in from previous occupant. Shower had hair on the tiles. When went down for breakfast was ignored by staff and was told we would be seen to but then they continued to ignore us (no drinks were offered) hotel was beautiful shame it’s not being looked after.

Overpriced and very little in return”
Shower didn't work during our stay. No apology.

Nice, relaxing quiet stay.”
I enjoyed the stay particularly because it is difficult to get rooms of this size at such a price within zone 1 of London, my own previously rented apartment was much smaller as well. However, I did not quite appreciate the curtness of the reception desk on my check-in day (when I checked out staff was much friendlier). I tried ringing for room service breakfast on 2nd morning, got put on hold to kitchen phone but no one ever picked up so that was disappointing. I believe room and hotel condition are fabulous but hotel staff and service might need some work there. If not bothered by these things and just want some peace and quiet whilst running errands/business/shopping in busy London, then this is really the place. Toilets have bathtubs too so that's a great plus!

Very convenient and enjoyable but expensive”
My room was very nice with a very comfortable bed, bathroom with walk-in shower and television with many viewing options. The location was very convenient for a London vacation and easy access to Heathrow Airport. I was surprised that there were no toiletries provided and that the hotel found it necessary to charge for Wi Fi and to require a $50 deposit at registration. I did not eat at the hotel.

Attractive older hotel, well-maintained.”
We stayed 4 nights at the Regency; very comfortable, interesting neighbourhood, 2 major museums within walking distance, wide variety of restaurants and shops in area, easy access to subway system. Room price higher than we are used to, but nothing in London is cheap.

Comfortable and enjoyable”
My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Though the room we booked is small, it's furniture and facilities are modern (which I think have been refurbished). Cosy beds and quite friendly staff. If the guest is big size, he might bump his elbow on the toilet roll dispenser cover or hit his toes against the bathroom door (I'm average size and still had this accident). It's no big deal if you're a little more careful. Hot shower mixer doesn't mix hot and cold water well, so be careful not to turn hot water too much. Overall, it's a nice hotel.

Well located hotel ”
It is difficult to find a reasonably priced hotel in London. However, the Regency was good value for the money and an easy ride to the West End theater district. We had a very pleasant stay.

Great location, very clean, great staff, but noisy”
The staff was great. We arrived late at night with three teens, two boys and a girl. We needed three rooms, with at least one having two singles for the boys. My daughter had her own room next to ours, and the boys were on the next level, which was perfect. The room was very small, no fridge, but spotless. The only negative is the noise level within the hotel. The walls are very thin, and thus it was noisy. Slept to books on tape on my ipod to block sounds.

Good, Clean & Friendly ”
Good, Clean and friendly, who can ask for anything more when traveling on business. Rooms are somewhat small, but that's London.

Comfortable room and staff were very helpful. Would stay in this hotel again as its very well priced and not so far from the West End either by taxi or bus.

Didn´t get the room we had payed for breakfast bad”
It started really bad we had ordered pick up at the airport but no one came and after 30min waiting I called the Hotel and was told to wait they where on their way after another 20 min still no one arrived another call and some lousy explananation about traffic so we ended with at cab after having waited for nothing in 45 minutes! We had upgraded to executive and we got this ok room on the 2nd floor with no view just the the hotel wing! And I especially asked for a room on a higher floor and the don´t have executive rooms higher than this! They should have told me and you need to know this! And I asked for a twin or a double bedroom and we got at queen bed so small with one blanket and this was terrible! The next morning we went to have breakfast and that was another shock it was terrible the rolls and bread was at least 1 or 2 days old also the croisant! The eggs and bacon were greasy and tasted terrible! The tea was good ! The staff in the breakfast room where very nice and also the cleaning ladies! But after this we went to the reception and complained and they tried to offer us a suite and to have us pay more for that! We did not want to pay any more and asked them to find us another room ! If we had made reservation through the hotel we would have left the next day but having payed for the room for 9 nights we couldn´t do that! So after a lot of discussions we got a queens gate room which was with a better bed and on the 3 rd floor with a window that opened ! I had written a week before and asked for a refrigerator since there are no minibars and they would see what they could do ! I asked for it a couple of times and the answer I got wast that they didn´t have more they where all being used !!! They should have bought a couple as there was a heat wave in London in July! So I will never go to this hotel again and I really felt cheated after having payed for a deluxe/executive room and this is what you get!
