A Surreal Experience!!! A Must Visit Highly recommended for Family & Friends.”
First of all, I want to thank Mr Abhijit and his team for making our trip so memorable. By far our best experience in Oman!! Everything was perfect - pick up from Bidiya Shell Petrol Station was on time and on a nice new car by Mr Abdulla (highly recommended). The hotel was fully booked for the weekend but the management is so organized that there was no compromise in the services. Evening we went for dune bashing and sunset experience. Once again had a wonderful time with Abdulla who had amazing control on the vehicle and he stopped us at an amazing spot to watch the sunset. No alcoholic drinks are served in the restaurant. The dinner and breakfast buffet spread had a wide variety of food. Special thanks to the staff for providing paracetamol in the middle of night withing 5 minutes. Also, I would like to thank Sanjoy the staff from Goa (sorry forgot his name but he had his birthday on 14th Feb) and all other staff from an amazing desert camping experience.

Amazing”
We drove by 2wd car to bidiyah and booked round trip transfer to the camp. The staff met us at Bidiyah Shell station and then we drove 2 min to Bidiyah Fort where you can safely park car over night. After it was 45 min drive through desert to the camp, fun experience. Camp itself is well done, dinner is full option, good spread. You can bring your own alcohol/wine they will provide glassware for you. 5 star experience in the middle of desert.

Great people and service”
The people at the camp are fantastic. We were a group of 3 cars traveling together. One of my friends ruined 2 tires on the trek. The staff arranged with a driver who was ferrying in tourists to go to Badiyah with the rims and have 2 tires mounted and returned to us. Also, we wanted to cook our own shuwa in the ground and their answer to everything was "no problem". They even sent somebody to collect the meat after cooking and served it to us in the restaurant as part of our Christmas dinner. Another friend was traveling with his dog. Though we knew dogs weren't allowed inside the camp, they gave us a cabin near the wall so we could check on the dog regularly out at the car. They seem to take every issue as a problem to solve and do so with cheer. Best hospitality in Oman.

Thousand Night's Camp”
What a great time we had at Thousand Night's Camp. We arrived late in the evening, after dinner had been served. The staff provided us with more appetizers we could possibly eat, all delicious. We had a great time, on the top of the dunes, watching the sunset. Excellent guide, super location, great staff. I can't say enough.

Desert adventure”
Everything was great, staff very hardworking, though currently understaffed despite full occupancy, owners should ensure adequate staffing levels.

Loved the place ”
We arranged to be picked up as I’m not a desert driver. Our driver was at the location when we got there early. He was wonderful and he also did the dune bash tans took us back the nest morning. We had what I guess was the Royal tent now called the Amir tent. With our own little swimming pool. Understanding that not everyone can do it, we were there on new moon night. Millions of stars in a black sky. Place is great. A bit pricy but for most , a one time experience. Why not the best.

Good camp, very nice staff”
The camp can be reached by car, 40 km inside the dessert. We had excellent food, outstanding staff. Great place. Indeed to recmmend. However, the surrounding of the camp is full of waste from people not caring about the nature. It is not the fault of the camp but somehow puts a shadow on the stay.

Beautiful camp”
Full review, The way to the camp require 4*4 car & around 20 km into the desert. If you book in the the weekend, expect very late check in around 5 pm . The tent is clean & comfortable. You have AC & good shower but no fridge. Food variety is good & delicious. No Omantel phone signal only Ooredoo but there is wifi in the reception. There is no phone to call room service you have to walk to reception. Again if you going in weekend expect loud noise up to 2 am from cars climbing sand dunes & people camping around the place .. Recommend for families & children

A wonderful luxury Glamping experience with stunning views of the surrounding Desert. Beautiful Sunrise was pictured from outside our tent. Tents are spacious and spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds. Staff were very helpful and courteous. Overall an enjoyable and memorable experience!

We absolutely enjoy the night here! International buffet for dinner and breakfast were included. Camel back ride cost 3 OMR for 5 mins and 5 OMR for 10 mins.

Happy to come back again”
Room is clean, do ask (and spend more) to get an air-conditioned room. The highlight of course is the sand dunes around the perimeter that you can climb and spend hours in.

not liking the price”
For the price we paid Pros................ -Accommodated at the middle of the desert which you can see beautiful views for the first time and the bright stars -Dinner is good but only served rose milk and laban as cold drinks -breakfast is amazing -staff were helpful and dealing with them was a real bless. Cons................. -Room (tent) is expensive and only offered two single beds -no power outlets, we needed to recharge our cameras and drones so we went back to the reception to get power supply -shared toilets with other rooms (tents) and the water was not properly heated -swimming pool was not properly heated and it felt really cold and no services was seeing around the pool -the tents was not having any mean of ventilation other than opening the windows or the door which breaks the privacy and if there's no wind you're left in the heat -wifi was not working and of course no signal so if you had an important call or text it'll just have to wait until you're at the city

Great camp resort in spectacular surroundings”
Fantastic camp deep in the dunes of the Wahibi Sands. My worries about getting there were totally unfounded - with good signage, as long as you follow the rules for driving the desert you won't find any problems in a 4WD. (Remember: drive in daylight, deflate tyres to 18 psi, follow the map on their website (tracking the kms), keep in low gear, keep moving on soft sand & don't traverse the dunes). Check in was smooth & staff friendly & polite. The tent (Sheikh) was comfortable & clean & the food tasty. A rope helped with the sunset dune climb. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the pool & the atmosphere in the restaurant. Visitors should know that the additional activities such as camel rides & bedouin visits are expensive, we hadn't planned on doing any of these so was not a problem for us. The best thing about this camp was the muted orange lighting - (this could be an accident!) which they switched off at 11pm - perfect for us stargazers.

Amazing experience”
if you wish to have desert experience with a desert drive around 25 KM, this is the one. This resort gives you an amazing experience by retaining nature intact with cosy lighting at night, with star amenities such as exceptionally good dinner, nice breakfast, some sort of cultural insight, sand dune bashing, camel ride, rising sunshine and overall the beauty of sand dunes to the fullest satisfaction. climbing the sandy hill with family and friends, spending the night, relax & retreat with Nature... that too with comfort by renting various tent options... So really worth stay, those who love nature. be careful while selecting the season/time of stay and the temperature at that time.

Wunderful”
Wonderful camp with excellent service and restaurant and very nice ambiance. Just one was not so good, but so far as we understood not in charge of the camp. The camp is directly next to the "sand road" and during our stay it was very busy: Many free campers on the hills, and many cars, which tried to climb the dunes (meaning car noise in the morning and evening). We stayed one night some days after the national foundation day (partial public holiday) and we do not know, if it's better on other days. .... but it is not so bad, not to join

Beautiful location”
We spent two nights at the desert camp and had a very pleasant stay. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food buffet was good with a good choice of dishes. There are a few flies about particularly if you sit in the sun at breakfast but you get used to them. After all, you are in the desert and they are to be expected. beautiful sunset views from the top of the dunes and amazing starry skies. We travelled independently having rented a 4x4 Kia Sportage. The 25 mile drive through the desert was exciting, particularly as we got bogged down in some soft sand. But there are other cars around and we only had to wait a few minutes before someone with a larger 4x4 came along and pulled us out. Ideally, you need a 4x4 with a little more ground clearance than the Kia. We had no problem driving out back to the tarmac road.

Nice off season stay”
Stayed here in September which is off season. They only had 3 guests at that time so we got attention of all the staff and the services were excellent. Their Indian chef cooked splendid meals. The big downside is that they were not able to assist us when we got stuck in sand on the way to the camp. They claimed that during off-season they have no cars amd guided available. We were lucky that a car was passing by.

Wonderful stay in Wahibi”
The Wahibi Sands is an unbelievable experience. The beaut dines go on for ever, and the location and quality of the camp makes it feel exclusive. Top marks from start to end - the booking process to the transfer, the welcome, the food and the atmosphere. Tents definitely vary in quality, from the very basic to the luxurious. Overall, an experience not to be misses.

Excellent desert experience in a perfect location ”
Sleeping in a basic tent in the middle of the desert is a unique experience. The camp allows you to see the sunrise and the sunny from the surrounding dunes. Many activities can be done, as driving on the sand or swimming in the pool.
