Oh for a lie- in past 5.30 am!”
Space, cleanliness, very well stocked
I couldn't really fault the accommodation, bu that is not the entire story of a successful break... I was in Hay on Wye for a three day sculpture course, standing all day from 10.00am till 6pm. I was wakened every morning (except Sunday) between 5 and 5.30pm because the parking area (double yellow lines!) for deliveries, was right under my window... First the milk and bread for Londis, then several other vans would line up to deliver various things, some with a very noisy mechanical lift. There was also a noisy element of drinkers in the evening shouting and singing. I was glad to get home for a rest. Yes accommodation good, but not if I couldn't stay awake o enjoy it!
