The 14 Place it is a good 3 Star Hotel , certainly if you are looking to be close to the center or well served for transportation to reach it , then I am afraid It might not the best option . No Metro or Sky Train on this area, only a bus service please allow 1 Hr or more to reach central area . However if you have to be in This area I really recommended . Yes the English language knowledge it is basic or not existing but please do not forget that you are not stay in a 5 Star hotel in the center . Staff was very cordial I will certainly return if occasion will arise

Usual Standard ”

Good as usual with easy access to transport, markets and meals. Well located to move around Bangkok from this location with all forms of transportation very close to 14. I have No hesitation in recommending this hotel.

good hotel, not far from 7-11 and family mart. just 2 min walk to the main road. about 150-200 baht to main parts of bangkok. and about 45 mins away from the airport (excluding traffic)

Good Hotel Far from Tourist Areas”

Far from tourist areas, friendly staff, clean room, reliable internet, reliable air conditioning, no insects. I wish the 14 hotels would put a protective cover between the sheets and the bed for better sanitary conditions.

surprised at area life”

this was my 1st time in this area of bangkok. pros - car Park & guard. food stalls at the end of street. motorcycle taxi stand too. Central mall 15 min walk away cons - not much English by staff. Never figured out the restaurant or complimentary breakfast.

The room was large and comfortable and if you have business in this part of Bangkok it would be a good place to stay, otherwise it's out of the way from the usual attractions and hot spots. Having said that there are plenty of good places to eat within walking distance which is just as well as the breakfast here was dreadful! The reception staff were very hit and miss some were great, one was horrid, AT the end of the day there's not a lot of competition, it would seem, in the immediate vicinity, but if you're driving this place has ample parking, some undercover, and the rooms are comfortable,

A good hotel for the price but needs safes in the room. More English channels on the TV. More English spoken at reception. Other than these negatives. A very good hotel for the price and star rating.

Apartment type hotel around Rama II”

My 2nd time staying here. Have some business dealings around Rama II and it is one of the only hotel within the area. They only provide one key card and power shuts off when you are out of the room (quite standard but you can't charge your phone during breakfast time). There is a 7 eleven near by (about 500m) for night time cravings as the restaurant is closed.

Apartment type hotel at Rama II”

It is my 4th stay at this hotel and the service is maintained to be the same. The restaurant price is reasonable. 711 is about 10mins walk away. The only thing that I found out that is not satisfactory is that they do not provide ironing board and iron for business traveler like me. Also calling a taxi will have a 20baht sur charge which is okay considered what you are paying to stay here.

Comfortable”

Very few Westerners around the whole Rama 2 area, which I happen to enjoy. Though plenty of western food available at the local shopping mall. Hotel itself very basic, though the rooms are spacious and comfortable (no safes however). Staff not overly friendly but that I think is because they didn't speak much English. Overall though, good value for the money and would recommend if you do not need to be in the centre of BKK.

Everything fine (except for not being allowed to check in prior to 12 noon, and being forced to wait in the lobby until the exact stroke of 12 [really, NO ROOM WAS AVAILABLE before noon??] ) but beyond that, everything fine.

I had to write this negative experience”

I was arriving at the hotel morning 0700hrs with my family. As check-in is at 1200hrs, I booked the room from previous day, so that when everyone arrives at the hotel from airport next day, we could directly go to our rooms and take rest. I had Booked 2 deluxe room and In the remarks I had specifically mentioned that everyone would be checking in early the morning next day at 0700. ********************************** But finally when we arrived at the hotel from airport, the rude receptionist kept us waiting for long time. She refused to listen to what we had to say. Surprisingly very unfriendly behavior from a receptionist. There is no diplomacy or respect or care for the guests. As everyone was tired I did not want to run through cancelling of booking and finding another hotel. Finally after around one, one and half hours of explaining and waiting she let us in. Terrible experience! +++++ All the other staff at the hotel are very good and friendly. Rooms are good and linen is clean. Even the manager said sorry when I later told her about what happened. Please expect your day to be ruined by the girl sitting at the reception.

I have stayed several times and always seems desk at checkin will avoid checking me in over Thais who arrive after me. I'd avoid the dinning room - so-so food taste. Otherwise, I like the big, clean room with big fridge. Good location to get motorcycle taxi to mall.

I stayed at this hotel for 6 days when I was in Bangkok. The place is far from the center of Bangkok but I can say the the price and its amenities were good. The staff at the hotel was kind. But there were two things that I felt uncomfotable. 1. Most of the staff can't speak English well. So it was hard to communicate when I needed something. 2. They change the wifi ID and password every day. It was really uncomfortable. I had to put the new IDs and passwords every mornings. 3. The location of this hotel is far from any sightseening. If going out to the central site in Bangkok, it's hard. Even those matters I said above, this hotel is still good to stay and feel good. I can recommand this one to anyone who is seeking a hotel in a appropriate price.
