Amazing Staff and a Very Comfortable Stay”
15th Street at Downtown Yangon was the best hotel experience of our trip so far. Excellent value for money, sparking clean, great hot showers (and no smell of drains in the bathroom!), breakfast was either eggs, tost and fruit or a local option and the location wasnt far from the main sites. What made it really stand out was how helpful and kind the staff were, nothing was too much trouble. If we're going through Yangon we'll be back! One thing we did find was that often the price online was cheaper than the price they could give you at the desk so worth checking if you want to extend your stay.

A fleeting view of 15th Street”
My short stay at 15th Street@Downtown Yangon was excellent. It was located right in the heart of Yangon and the staff were absolutely hospitable and very helpful. The place was very clean. The only problem I had was that the internet conenction was very poor - intermittent and slow. But I would recommend the place to anyone wanting a reasonbly priced place.

Good experience”
We have a very good experience when spending time in 15th street @ downtown Yangon. Friendly and helpful staff who helped us booking bus tickets and taxi. They even let us bath before our long night bus trip even we had already checked out. And the hostel is just located right at the downtown. easy to enjoy street food if you would like to experience local life !

Helpful, friendly, and centrally located”
The staff at 15th Street were really accommodating to our needs. They recommended a few go-to places and were able to explain comprehensively when enquired about directions and places. Breakfast was simple and tasty though of limited choices. There are restaurants nearby so you can still head there if you don't feel like having the breakfast provided. The rooms we had were fairly clean, comfortable, but smaller than we thought. It's advisable to pay a little more for a larger room to be able to move around freely. Otherwise, this hotel met our expectations!

Nice, new hotel in market portion of downtown”
The hotel was just 5 months old at time of my stay. It was therefore in good condition. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were small, but cozy, comfortable, and neatly kept. I found my stay there very enjoyable. Good hotel and good location if you want to walk around downtown Yangon. Also not too noisy for being in the hustle and bustle of downtown.

Great place in Yangon”
This place is right towards the middle of the action in downtown Yangon which makes it an awesome place for people who want to get out and walk the streets. So many great food stalls surrounding this place. The staff is fantastic and ready to help you with anything they can—they even made me breakfast to go when I had a 6am flight. Fantastic place, I def recommend.

Yangon hotels are expensive - felt like HK or Singapore prices”
For a guesthouse a small room with no view was $50 USD. I thought it was too expensive for a 3rd world country. We have stayed in Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia for much less. The hotel is located in a crowded street - easy access to chinatown and few other places like Shule Pagoda and eateries. Staff was friendly and place is clean. Rooms were half the size of hotels in Bagan - guess Yangon real estate is pricey - am clueless why tho :/ Food in Yangon based on tripadvisor reviews were very good and cheap.

Great location!”
Being situated in Downtown Yangon, the location was convenient to access Schwedagon, Sule Pagoda and surrounding areas on foot. We were also within the Chinatown area and there were loads of street food (right at the doorstep of the hostel)! There was also a newly opened massage place, Royal Jasmine, a few units beside the hostel (very clean). The staff here were also really friendly, always offering us coffee/tea when we are back. For breakfast, there were two options - toast with eggs or shan noodles/mohinga.

Nice Hotel at Downtown”
Location is superb, located at the downtown near the Chinatown, with lots of street food, places of interest to visit, easy to get transportation, as well. Staffs are SUPERB, the staffs are the friendliest people I've ever known :) they will gladly help you with your inquiries, even though some of them don't speak English or not really good with it, but they will be more than happy to help you and let those who can speak to help you :) They also provide the city map, and help you with the circular trains, you can also book tour or bus ticket to the other cities. The room is clean with complete amenities, hot and cold water for bath, and water bottle, mineral water dispenser also spread around the floor for water easy access. The breakfast is traditional, simple, but yummy :D While I'm writing this, I miss them already, and for sure will stay in this hotel again when I'm in town :)

Nice staff, good value, and a good location.”
I’ll be honest, the standout feature is that it’s incredibly good value - it’s very cheap, and it’s also nice. It’s a basic, hostel-style place with private en-suite rooms, it’s relaxed and quiet, the breakfast is included and is outstanding, and there is a water cooler to fill your own water bottle, so you don’t have to use all the plastic bottles. The location is great, and they also arranged a reasonably priced taxi driver to take us around for a few days (one tip for your taxi tour though: don’t go inside Sule Pagoda, it’s just a scam - take some photos from the park outside, the other locations recommended we’re fabulous). They also arrange a good value private day tour to Bago and Golden Rock, which is an absolute MUST! The staff were lovely - very attentive (to a point we are generally unused to in the West), and there is always someone there to answer any queries you have. There are lots of good, cheap places to eat locally - we found bowls of noodles for 500 Kyat, and there are also night markets and plenty of street food nearby. We’d definitely stay here again.

Wonderful haven in the bustling city ”
This place was such a godsend in the middle of loud dirty and crowded Yangon. The staff are AMAZING. The place is very clean. The bathroom is very modern and even organized in a way that the toilet doesn't get all wet when you shower. Everything looks new or renovated. The AC works well. Walking distance to many sites downtown. Would highly recommend.

Good budget stay with exceptionally wonderful staff”
Again, this is a good budget stay for Yangon as you’ll have a clean and quiet room within a few blocks of BBQ alley as well as a market street. It’s also a short taxi to Shwedagon Pagoda. More than anything, it’s the staff who elevate this place (they also have a sister residence one block over). The staff was flexible with our very early arrival, they were always eager to help us find anything we needed, helped book tickets to puppet show as well as rides to places. We cannot day enough good things about the staff!

Amazing value for money and excellent wifi ”
Much better than I had ever imagined. It exceeded my expectations and was the perfect place to stay in Yangon for a weekend. The only thing is that depends on the location you want, as this is in Chinatown and on the edge of downtown. I will definitely stay here again!

Very nice and cozy in Chinatown - good value for money”
Chinatown is a wonderful, old style, (and messy), and charming area. Luckily there is this very nice hotel located very near 19th street and many other charming areas. For the first time I would like to give this hotel the highest grades. Very good value for money. Intelligent and highly motivated, friendly and helpful staff. Everything simply worked perfectly. (that is highly unusual in this part of the world) Examples: My reservation was known and written on a whiteboard, room was clean and had a pleasant smell, bed perfectly made and everything clean, aircon unit very new and worked perfectly, the remote had fresh batteries (WOW), warm water worked perfectly, shower worked perfectly, toilet worked perfectly. There was toilet paper, Overall the staff knows 100% what they are doing and understand what you need to know and provide helpful, friendly and logically consistent advice. When checking in I was handed a printed map over the city and also a dicount coupon for a restaurant nearby as well as the wifi-password stapled to a corner. Wonderful! A relief from the typical stupidity you encounter at other places where you often have to ask about the most obvious things.(I have lived in and traveled around Asia for 2 years...) Please note that if you have problem walking then select a lower floor room since there are some charming stairs that may not agree with a medical condition. The breakfast is very simple but OK. There is no safe in the room but I felt that it was OK at this place. Once again - I was very pleasantly surprised and I will stay here again next time I visit the city.

Stayed here twice, ideal budget hotel in Yangon”
The staff were so friendly, spoke good English and were always happy to help with anything you needed! Really some of the best service we've come across in a budget hotel! Loved the free water cooler available in the corridors - we could fill up our bottles for free and cut down on how much plastic we used! The breakfast was simple but there was plenty - they were always happy to serve more of any item you wanted. And to have Nutella and peanut butter was such a home comfort treat after several weeks travelling through the region. A little bit far to walk to the main sights. So we used the Grab app mainly to get around by taxi. But on the other hand the location is good, as it is downtown so you get to experience the hustle and bustle of city life! The cheapest rooms are very tiny so if you want a more comfortable stay, book the larger rooms.

Comfortable accommodation in the middle of Downtown”
Pleasant stay thanks to the very attentive staff, the place seemed newly refurbished with a large room with interesting street views. Free breakfast had very tasty local options. Being in the Downtown area, the building itself was older and stairs need to be climbed, but for me this just added to the atmosphere. Many options for food and drinks at night in walking distance.
