Lovely boutique room, struggled for parking”
This hotel is a lovely quirky and creative place to stay. Our room was spacious and luxurious with a very comfortable bed and beautiful roll top bath. The bedroom window looked directly out onto the neighbours back garden which was slightly strange as we could see into their living room from the bath also.
Staff were very friendly and helpful when we were checking in and throughout the day/ night that we were coming and going, however they rarely answered the phone when calling and there was only ever one person available to help even at checkin/out times.
We stayed at a busy time of year when the weather was tricky too. We called in advance to ask about parking and were reassured that it would be fine, however this was not the case. We waited for 55 minutes for a space in the recommended car park behind the hotel and then found another across town. This was costly and time consuming. I'd love to stay again but at a less busy time of year.

Excellent place to stay in Edinburgh”
Location, size and comfort of room, friendly helpful staff.
Excellent location to walk to Prince's Street, the shops and attractions. Parking could be difficult but the accommodation has their own space. We had an excellent large family room on the ground floor but the bathroom was in the corridor. Shame there was no breakfast service but there are plenty of places around. Staff were very friendly and obliging.
