A very good place to stay”

For us it was really hard to find a place to stay in nuwara eliya during the christmas weekend. But via agoda we were able to find this place. The place is surrounded by a beutiful view. And the owners were very kind and helpful. Food prepared by them was tasty and worth. The place was very clean and neat.

Great Location ... Good Breakfast”

It was great and wonderful stay at Loversleap Cottage .... It was well maintained property with village setting... We had a walk up to the waterfall ... Lovely view... You could call yourself on terrace.... Night view on terrace is super.

Lovely little cottage on the hill”

Such a beautiful cottage, very homey and comfortable. And the view...Amazing!Loved chilling out on the bench out front overlooking the town below and the surrounding greenery. Yasho and Madhan were lovely hosts, we almost felt like we were staying with family. Love love.

Misleading photos and description”

The photos of 26 Loversleap show a warm and cozy cottage, but the actual place is far from it. We arrived to find nobody on the premises and had to have the neighbors contact the host before she arrived 15 minutes late. Upon entering the building, the scent of paint became overpowering because they had just repainted the walls without airing out the house. We were showed to our rooms and had to request both towels and the WiFi to be turned on (another venture that required help from 3 neighbors). The bedroom was cold and damp throughout the evening, and there was a wooden pallet as the flooring for the shower. Breakfast was prepared on time but mediocre. We would not stay there again.

Damp in rooms”

Hospitality and staff are welcoming. There are no drivers quarters. Unfortunately the rooms have a damp problem and there is no proper ventilation for the bathrooms. The damp made it a cold and uncomfortable sleep. We were tempted to change hotels the second night however, the staff were very kind and hardworking we decided the stay the second night. This is a clean hotel and the only let down is the bed and damp in the rooms. The manager tried to charge us for hotel tax claiming agoda was an international company and didn't, know about hotel tax. We didn't meet the manager however we did not like is attitude over the phone.

amzing view and friendly family”

the villa is supervise by family, mother and her son, they are so kind and cooperative, the total rooms in the villa was 3 rooms and we have booked 2 rooms, they closed the third room due to no booking at that time and we were lucky to be free in all the villa, the villa has amazing view and we enjoy our stay.

Cold, wet and Dirty room - No manager at the hotel”

as mentioned above the hotel looks quite cool & stylish at first sight but unfortunately we got a totally dirty room with litter in the bin, dirt on the bed sheets, hairs in the bathroom, etc. After trying to complain the only person who was available was a poor old man nearly without teeth who couldn't speak a word English. After a while we spoke to the neighbour and she told us the owner couple lives in Colombo city and London so we felt a bit helpless as we already paid quite a lot for this place and could not speak to a responsible person. The room was at least a 30 min walk to the center so bit far off without a tuktuk. The night was horrible as the room was very cold and wet and everywhere was mouldiness. The bed underlay sheets were covered with a kind of Plastic foil?! So to make up a conclusion it was far too overpriced for this place and in special for Sri Lanka. we would have found some better standard in Europe. I wouldn't have complained if the owner had at least given us the promiseed 10% discount as he told us via phone before booking and If he would have been willing to find a compromise with Agoda after we send them a later about the conditions in this "hotel". The place is worth max. 30€ per night! If I knew how to do I could also upload some images of the mouldiness & dirt we have sent to Agoda also in this review.

Little Gem with a Great View”

This is a small guest house with a lovely view - staff were great and food was very good. Would definitely recommend.

The owner should have more easy ways to contact. They had a good welcome but there was some misunderstanding between Agoda and the owner about my reservation.

Worst place ever care takers are robbers& maniacs ”

middle of the night with fear for life we had to come out of the hotelwithbthe help of police . We already made a complaint in police about care takers. These care takers secretly entered in to our cottage. He is a maniac. OurBabies are still suffering with fear .place is so disgusting. Frightful memory never recommended to humans . Caretaker pretend as he is the owner of property.

Dismal,there were only 2 rooms,very steep inaccessible steps and no compound..Iwould not recommend this hotel to anyone

Worst place we stayed at during Sri Lanka ”

Couldn’t wait to leave. The house has a serious damp problem, pillow cases were stained, dog crying at the front door at night, basic breakfast, absent staff and very steep steps which were unlit.

Sorprendente lugar, intimo, personal super atento y servicial, vistas increibles y comida impresionante. Aunque esta a 3km d Nuwara Eliya se llega en 10min en tuctuc. Lo unico no tan bueno es que es un poco húmedo.
