Best Value luxury in a supercool locale”
I've been visiting Yangon for 30 years and the best hotel I stayed at is The Strand which costs hundreds of $$$ a night, 30th Corner costs just a few $ and is super cool and trendy and after staying at many budget hotels and checking out many others I can sincerely say that for a comfortable bed in a chic room and a decent breakfast that 30th is not only the best option it is the best by far. If you know Yangon well then you know that luxury comes at a price and if you are on a budget and want somewhere you would allow guests, girlfriends or relatives to join you without losing face then 30th is the only option available (unless you are happy to really splash the cash). They have numerous little extras available for free - hot water, fridge use, umbrellas, taxi calling etc, the staff are non-intrusive polite and very helpful. Directly opposite the hotel is Innwa Drinks and confectionary for the munchies which are needed if you socialise with the lads on the street corner and 50 metres away is a the famous South Indian food center- a full dinner (as much as you can eat quality curries and roti) for just 2$ and a little further down is Nilah Biriani serving the best Biriyani for just 2.50$ in the other direction 5 minutes walk takes you to Yangon's hottest nightlife area with great beer and rum (also available in ABC minimart across the road not the ABC next to the hotel) 30th is also just one block walk from Boyoke Market, FMI supermarket, the Shangri La hotel and much much more so staying at 30th also means you save money energy and on taxi fares. 30th is so good I plan to go back soon as it is a real home from home, there're no complaints whatsoever - if you need a window room or a quiter room or an en-suite bathroom then just ask for it. English language movies & music on the cable flat screen TVs locker and bag storage should you wish to travel light outside Yangon. I have always loved Yangon and now I have discovered this discreet top notch hotel I love it more.

Great stay at 30th corner Boutique Hostel”
I was in Yangon for just a quick visit (two days, one night) for some meetings and to visit some friends, and needed a place to stay that was clean, convenient and affordable. I had a terrific stay at 30th Corner Boutique Hostel. I was in a single room, which more than met my needs for my one-night stay. It was small but clean and neat, and the shared bathrooms were also clean with several stalls for toilet and shower. The location of the hotel was incredibly convenient for my needs, within walking distance to many of the places I had to go downtown. However, the best part of my visit by far was the customer service. The staff at 30th Corner were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to assist me with all aspects of my visit, from helping me negotiate taxis to writing the addresses of all the places I needed to go in Burmese so I could show to taxi drivers. Khaing in particular was phenomenal. The staff made my visit much easier and more enjoyable. I would recommend 30th Corner to any business traveler or tourist who is traveling on a budget and wants somewhere to stay that is clean, conveniently located, and comes with fantastic service.

dash of charm in the chaos of yangon”
It doesn't look much from the outside. Wouldn't have noticed the hostel had the taxi driver not pointed the small sign out to me, not with all the people and activities surrounding the premises. Going up the staircase also feels like you're heading up a rundown building- until you see the boutiquely white entrance into 30th hostel. Inside is completely opposite- clean, quiet, and cool. The room i got was quite small and bare but such is the accommodation for the price paid, an absolute steal at $20+. And free bottled water- an absolute necessity when sightseeing on foot under the baking Burmese heat! So except for sometimes acrid odor emanating from the toilet and the constant blaring of vehicle horns audible from my room, I found 30th hostel a rather pleasant temporary abode in downtown Yangon.

Great stay”
I found my stay at 30th Corner Boutique Hostel just great for value for money travelers. The location is safe and perfect, in walking distance to the major attractions including Shule Paya, Bojoke aungsan market, central railway station, morning market and late evening china town. The bed and shower were satisfyingly clean but what I loved the most about this accommodation was warm and great hospitality that the staffs had shown throughout my stay. You made my trip in Yangon so special. Thank you.

perfect decision to stay at 30th Corner!”
the location was the best! food and places to go to were just around the corner. chinatown where everything is cheap is just a few blocks walk too. we went to three placed in Myanmar with Yangon being the first. on the last day of our trip, we had to stop by Yangon to take our international flight back home. we tried our luck to stop by 30th Corner to ask if we can take a shower and leave our things for the last few hours before our flight. to our surprise, they happily agreed with no extra cost. we were extremely happy with the extra service we got even after checking out a few days before!

Best Value Pristine Boutique Hotel in Rangoon”
30th Boutique is a splendid home from home, not only did they take care of all my Rangoon travel and entertainment needs the staff always wrote in Myanmar language things for us to show taxi drivers which was incredibly helpful, just ask and they happily free of charge help you get to where you are going. They arranged all my tickets and other needs for me saving me time and energy to party in the cool local nightclubs and discos. The whole hotel is spotless and provides all the little perks I needed even looking after my valuables whilst travelling up in beautiful Kachin for a week. Just minutes from FMI department store, Boyoke Market, seconds from Indian food centers and Inwa bakery and fresh smoothies and sundaes is bang opposite 30th corner. The only possible badside is new comers can be confused by the old entrance until they walk up the steps turn right and get a warm surprise of a clean techno oppulence hidden away in the heart of downtown.

Perfect base for exploring downtown Yangon”
I had a very comfortable stay at the 30th Corner Boutique Hotel. The location is fantastic, the staff were very friendly and small touches like giving a slip of paper with the address printed in Burmese (to show taxi drivers) was very much appreciated. The hostel felt safe and secure. My room was very comfortable, as well as clean. I would happily recommend staying here to anyone.

Good location and very nice hotel.”
When I arrived 30th corner I felt like I was in another world that differently from outside. Good location and very nice hotel. All staff are nice, friendly, and helpful. The room is tidy but has some dust. I think hostle just finished building. Overall is good and recommended this hostle for who will travelling to Yangon on budget. Worth to pay & worth to stay here :)

As good as a Yangon hostel could be”
- Strongest asset is friendliness of the staffs - Free unlimited water - Right in the middle of the town. Taxi knows. Walkable to Sule Pagoda, Botatoung Pagoda, Scott Market, Parkson - Inside the hostel, it's clean. The road outside the hostel not quite clean especially when raining - Wifi is ok for Yangon. There is also private TV in private room. - Opposite the hotel, there's Innwa restuarant which is quite good. - Difficult to cross the road in Yangon. However, when I figure out that there's a traffic light if you walk a little bit to the left of the hostel, it's easier to cross the road there.

Good location, modern & clean”
We stayed 2 nights in Yangon after a long trip to Myanmar and were happy to stay at the 30th Corner. The double bedroom was very spacious, clean and comfortable. For tall people like us, watch your head a the ceiling is quite low :) Separated private shower and separated private toilets. Friendly staff. Very well located. Only inconvenient is the street noise (Yangon is very noisy) - but otherwise, very good place to stay

Best hostel to stay in Yangon”
It was just what my friend and I needed! Great location, clean/comfy beds and tasteful rooms with modern look, helpful and friendly staff. The hostel is along Anawratha Road which is one of the busiest roads in Yangon. It's just right across a bakery/pastry shop which is great for breakfast. It's just walking distance to Yangon's Chinatown area (19th Street) and very near to Sule Pagoda and City Hall area. Wi-Fi was also relatively fast. We intended to stay only for one night but booked a second night by paying directly to the frontdesk. Overall, as a budget traveller, I highly recommend this hostel. Would stay there again if I ever get the chance to visit Yangon again.

Wonderful staff and close to attractions”
My friend and I booked a trip to Myanmar without doing as much research as we should have, if it wasn't for the wonderful staff at 30th Corner, our trip would have been a disaster! The lovely lady at reception called round bus companies to find times and seats for us, she then booked our bus and the tickets were delivered to the hostel for us to collect. The rooms were very clean. Ok, there were a few ants in one of the showers but this is Asia - it's expected! Close to the Scott Market and we even walked to the Shwedagon Pagoda from the hostel! I loved it, highly recommend and will hopefully be back one day!

Nice Place to Stay in Yangon”
Stayed in their dormitory room. The room and bed, actually the whole place, looked very clean. Even if the area/street outside looks kinda dirty, it is a different world when you step inside the hostel. The place is very modern & clean. Also, the staff and the owner (especially) speak good English, so I didn't have a hard time communicating with them. I also love its location as it is just walking distance from some tourist spots in Yangon such as Sule Pagoda, Aung San Market, Yangon Central Railway Station and many more. Would definitely recommend this place to my friends!

AWESOME STAFF, very convenient location”
my stay at the hostel was AWESOME! the hotel is about 30-40 minutes from the airport and the bus terminal but very close to Sule Pagoda, within walking distance. You can do the Yangon Walking Tour from the hostel as well, it is located at the centre of the city centre. The room is very clean, despite small, and with shared bathrooms & toilets. The staff is awesome!! they were SO SO friendly during our stay and very accommodating. They allowed us to go back to the hostel to take shower and rest before catching our night bus to Bagan and gave us some very good recommendations on places to try out local food. All in all, our stay was very pleasant and it's definitely very well worth the money that we paid.

Clean and stylish!”
Location of the hostel was easy to find and within a few metres away from Sule Pagoda. Staff speaks very good English and and kindly extended my check-out time since I was taking a night flight. I was being upgraded to a twin room as they mentioned that they are undergoing renovation and there will no longer be any more dormitory (sad!). The toilets were very clean with great water pressure, hot water was the plus point. Rooms were simple and clean, with towels provided. I love it when there is a common area to hang out with other travelers during the day, especially breakfast time where the hostel also serves toast, eggs, bananas, instant noodles and coffees. Overall, I would love to revisit this hostel when I'm back in Yangon!

Truly boutique”
Rarely have i experienced such a contrast as the one from walking into the hostel. The outside is in the inner city swarm of Yangon. The inside of the hostel is air-conditioned, cleansed of dirt and the staff are lovely and cheerful. The staff never failed. They went further than they needed to. The one flaw were the showers were slightly weaker than they should be. A tricky problem to remedy in downtown Mandalay I should think.

Excellent budget hotel”
We didn't realize that we are staying at the chaotic Little India area of Yangon but we were pleasantly surprised at how different the inside of this boutique hostel is from the chaos and grime of the bustling area. It provides a welcome respite after a day of touring and sightseeing. The place is very clean and our room is huge! It was the best room actually with a king size bed. The staff are very courteous, friendly, attentive and speaks really good English. They would even go out of their way to help us with our itineraries and write down the Burmese script for the address for when we need to take a cab. There's also lots of dining options in the area. Our room also comes with coffee/tea making facility with good quality local coffee. There's also free bottled drinking water in th elobby fridge and you can take as many as you can consume. This hotel is also spanking new and is highly recommended. We love it!
