Lovely, clean apartment in a beautiful location of Marseille”

Friendly host and great location. Very good price and very clean also.
Only complaint is that the kitchen equipment was a bit basic. We would have liked a wooden spatula and a cooking knife.

I like the proximity with the sea, just 1 minute. Good wifi qulity.
The neighbors are very noisy, there is the elevator just next the door, and lot of People passing. TV channels not working.

Fabulous location. Literally 2 minutes to the beach and a number of reasonable priced restaurants.
Very noisy neighbors. Woken up by loud arguments at 4am both mornings. I realize this is nothing to do with the apartment owner and totally out of their control but be aware you may not get a good night sleep.

Would not recommend”

The location was right by the beach.
The shower was mouldy, the mattress was much too soft and felt like a sponge, the pillows were lumpy and the door was difficult to open and close without using excessive force. As the apartment is right beside the lift, it was also quite noisy. Overall this creates a poor experience and I wouldn't return.

A nice apartment located near the coast and a beach with beautiful views. Low cost and equipped with everything needed, even a coffee machine. Really friendly and helpful host. I really recommend it for a stay for two people :)

It was an amazing local experience, close to the beach with a breathtaking view right when you enter the street and look right. It is somewhat in the center, but not in the busiest center. So it is quite chill and quiet yet close to many things :D And just nearby we had the best food in a Michelin restaurant. Ahh and the island, so beautiful and amazing spot for nice hikes for beginners. Oh! And the food in general, just delicious. Both savory and sweet. Every other bakery and cafe just gorgeous.
If you're looking for a luxuries experience it's not it. The apartment is a bit old, but that is what makes it a genuine, local experience. The mattress could be more comfortable, it was not very supportive of the spine, a bit too soft.

Good budget apartment, close to the beach.”

Basic little apartment. A bit rough round the edges as it's an older apartment block. Great location a minute from the beach. Plenty of shops, bars, cafes, bakeries etc within 10 minutes walk. Pharo felt like a nice, safe area to stay in. Great bus service (No. 83) takes you out to the beaches & park at Borely and round to the port and city centre. The 82S bus takes you to the main train station and the airport bus. All very handy. Good budget accommodation for the price. Fridge, hob, microwave, coffee machine etc.
Having a comfy chair or small sofa would have been nice, also a few more kitchen utensils (bread knife, serving spoon etc). The internet/tv box stopped working on our second day but a text and call to the owner and he came with a dongle so we still had internet, was able to connect laptop to tv to watch netflix etc. Not really much to complain about.

Great location, clean, spacious”

Definitely great value for money! GREAT LOCATION : the beach, bus station and the palais Pharo are only minutes away by foot. Simon is a great host, he is friendly and professional, takes time to explain everything and give recommendations. Easy key retrieval and communication with the host . The room is clean and spacious with a dining area and an equiped kitchen with everything you would need . It is tastefully decorated and the bed is super comfortable. I'll definitely be back!
I would suggest putting up curtains to preserve privacy from the neighbours around. If not you have to have the shutters down with no natural light.

no cortains as it’s located in the floor level shower with fungus and mold rough towels and low heating but above all, the same level’s neighbours: the whole 2,5 days it reeked of marijuana or hashis, people came and went buying drugs and one of the tenants hit a girl and treated her very badly

Bed sheets and clean towels were included in the price, we weren't expecting it and it was a pleasant surprise!
Neighbours were noisy during the night but it was not the host's (or the apartment's) fault, we were just unlucky.
