Had a very pleasant 2 night stay at 4 Design Inn and we received a very warm welcome upon arrival. It is also conveniently located within 10 minutes walk from the train station and to all the yummy food places in Tainan. Wifi works very well too, highly recommended!

Simple, no fuss, 7 mins walk from train station”
it is located ~7 mins walk from tainan TRA station, and ~5 mins walk to Chikan tower. The building is not very easy to spot/enter, however, the owner is very responsive and helpful via fbm / wechat, and he send his staff to pick us up at family mart. Room was nice, spacious, that comes with a dressing table, a sofa, a coffee desk, and an additional sink. more impressively, it comes with a small balcony and a washing machine. No idea how clean / functional is the washer as I didn't get to use it. but the general perception of the room is very clean! Other than the not-so-easy-to-spot location, the remaining parts are generally impressive! Will return next time.

It's nearby the Tainan train station, only takes you 10 minutes to walk to the station and bus stop. The room is very clean, bed is comfortable and the decoration is very creative. It's really a fantastic room, makes you full in love in the first sight. The security is safe, the staff is really helpful and considerate. I'll absolutely choose this one next time.

Very nicely designed rooms”
It is a good 500 to 800m walk from the tainan main station. One of the things to note is that the address given is a chinese medicine shop and the actual location is 1 min walk away. Just go into the Chinese Medicine shop and show your booking to the staff in there and they will guide you. There are 4 locations for breakfast. The fishball soup one is quite good. Room is very nice but building is a little on the old side plus there is a stinky tofu shop at the lift lobby. Once you get out of the lift, it is fine. Clean, decent size room.

Convenient location, unique design, comfortable rm”
Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Room design was unique and was comfortable to stay in. Location was good and convenient. The place is right above family mart, making late night hunger pangs non existent. It was also 10minutes walk away from the train station. There wasn't any signs pointing to the hotel but it wasn't difficult to find after you have contacted the hotel staff.

Spacious room and good location ”
Nice clean and quite room , value for money. Hotel is about 15 mins walking distance from train station and there is no front desk, only way of communication of check in and out is thru Mobile Phone, hotel is located 9th floor of a commercial building on top of the family mart, no sign board, only way to find is to call hotel staff. It is in front of Hotel Rich. Breakfast is provided at NT 50 per pax to nearby local food stall. Overall for my experience is good, very spacious room and located near by tourist attractions place and hotel staff provide maps and explanation.

Did not like the fact that you have to call phone number to find location of hotel is different from address listed on agoda. Hot water did not last more than 5min so have to take fast shower. Had to call number to have room key picked up by butler, who does final room check, before we leave which felt strange. If I had known there were so many rules, I would rather stay in standard hotel where I can also leave luggage without 300/hour charge after checking out.
